Also this is hilarious:
View attachment 399614

This was posted shortly before the presents.

Let it show that somehow this **** will always leak on 4chan. Usually right before the presents like the Legends Arceus trailer.

But somewhere, someone always has access to information.

Side note, this being from 2023 is pretty wild. Why were they translating the game at that point? How long have they been developing it?
Reposting this to new page, and also the second comment got clowned on so hard for calling it fake lol.

Fixed.

Hey, bad is a good word to use here, but I think the word sad fits better.

And sorry, but I had to.

anyway, I felt some excitement watching that trailer, but knowing what the Minecraft movie is, I dropped the excitement altogether.
Yeah, this is so sad. Alexa play DJ Got Us Falling In Love by Usher and Pitbull 😔

As for the Minecraft movie...well the merchandising is already hitting hard. I already saw some Minecraft Movie-themed potato chips in stores the other day.

And they weren't even interesting flavors like with the Wicked juice. They were just BBQ and vinegar flavored!

Have another movie trailer:

I still don't have high hopes for this movie, but I appreciate the water bucket and Chicken Jockey jokes.

Also, credit where credit is due., In a movie full of uncanny and a few deliberately overly weird and quirky redesigns of the Minecraft mobs, the Iron Golem redesign is still legitimately good.

Quick off the top of my head predictions for the starter evolutions (assuming they get regional forms instead of Megas)

Kalosian Meganium: Grass/Fairy
Kalosian Emboar: Fire/Steel
Kalosian Feraligatr: Water/Poison

I could also see Ground or Electric for Emboar. I wanted to say Dark for Feraligatr, but we just had H-Samurott.

That didn't stop us from getting multiple Fire/Fighting starters in a row, but I think Poison is a better choice anyway if you're thinking of sewer gators.

I'm also manifesting for a Grass/Fairy Meganium. I can imagine it being SUPER pretty - remember I'm the local flower fan. Imagine it having a bright red, lovely-scented rose around its neck! Pink Yoshi WAAAAANTS.

Though I also feel like we're bound for at least one ghost-type. GameFreak seems to love putting the ghost type on its starters lately:
  • it was on standard Decidueye
  • it was on Hisuian Typhlosion
  • it was on Skeledirge
I feel like a ghost starter might be inevitable. Either on Feraligatr to complete the triad of part-ghost starters for all three types, or on Emboar to finish the hat-trick of fire-ghost starters like fire-fighting before them (ESPECIALLY since Emboar is the one who completed the fire-fighting hat-trick way back when!) Heck, maybe even Meganium will have it with an awesome black rose aesthetic.

I do wonder how they'll justify the new evolutions since the game isn't set that far out from the original Kalos games.
I dunno maybe leftover energy from when the Ultimate Weapon backfired courses through the region, affecting the local Pokemon in strange ways.

And by local Pokemon I just mean the three at the start of the game.

Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott’s new forms weren’t the result of adapting to their surroundings either. They got hit with 5G radio waves from Mt Coronet.

Said it last night as to why future made more sense but this.

It’s probably the same amount of time irl that it is in game. So like 13 years.

Say the Ultimate weapon when fired in XY altered the world around them.

Some Pokemon have been adapting to the effects of it. This is basically what happened to AZ’s Floette.

I also saw an idea that they could put the ruins of the old city underneath the current one. Which in turn leads to Pokémon adapting underground areas.

Evolutions and megas don’t really need an explanation because XY made it clear they didn’t discover all of the megas and new evolutions are found all the time in the world of pokemon.

The final evolutions may affect my choice, but currently I’m gonna pick Chikorita. It’s my favorite of the three, and while I really like Tepig too, I don’t like Emboar near as much. I like Totodile as well, but don’t care much for it and its evolutions (unless we’re talking Fools’ Gold, although its Feraligatr form, while still kinda cool and funny, was disappointing compared to the cool and cute pilot Totodile and Croconaw).

I think Cyndaquil may be my favorite Johto starter as a whole, but Chikorita was also my first choice when I first experienced a Johto game through HeartGold (if it wasn’t Stadium 2) and I really liked it. Ash having both Chikorita and Cyndaquil probably also influenced me, and I think my Chikorita may have been a girl like his (though I lost my HeartGold copy years ago so I can’t check :c. Funnily enough, I see the game going for cheap on Google (around 15 to 23 bucks), I thought it was usually scalper prices :S).

edit: I just remembered Ash also had Totodile, tbh I think his Chikorita/Bayleef appealed to me the most xD

Alright, I had a thought while catching up on sleep last night, and this is how I would personally do a Deadly Six-focused spinoff game.
The game takes on a traditional 3D platformer style much like a classic Rareware game. Essentially, where Yooka-Laylee was a modern spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, this Deadly Six game would be a modern spiritual successor to Donkey Kong 64 - BUT would improve on the aspects DK64 gets reamed over.

At any time, you can swap between the six different D6 members to traverse the expansive levels. Every D6 member has some standard capabilities. They can run and jump, of course, and also break into a sprint to get around faster (though not Sonic levels of fast...usually), and allow them to jump further too. They also have a selection of melee attacks where they use their horns, claws and tails. Most interestingly though, they share the ability to use their electromagnetic field manipulation to form a shield to deflect or move projectiles fired at them by enemies. They can't use this constantly obviously - even a Zeti's gotta take a breather occasionally, so you'll need to keep their electromagnetic abilities charged by pulling a Spyro and smacking up small critters to absorb their nutrients.

Additionally, each member of the Deadly Six has unique powers for fighting and traversing the levels. While playing as them, you'll also find unique food items to replenish their health if need be.
  • Zavok can send out powerful heated energy balls. While slow, they are mighty and have limited homing capabilities. He can also heat up his scales for a while and temporarily make it so when he is attacked, enemies will take damage too. This will also be useful for enabling heat-powered mechanisms for progressing through the levels. While playing as him, you'll find seared steak as health replenishment.
  • Zazz, being the group speedster, can break out into a "Super Sprint" after sprinting for long enough. In this state, Zazz can electrify his body, becoming impervious to melee attacks and being able to damage foes simply by running into them. He can also smash through certain barriers in this state. While playing as him, you'll find giant hot chili peppers as health replenishment.
  • Zomom is surprisingly athletic and is a good climber - he can climb up most, if not all, different walls and surfaces. He can even throw his sandwich at enemies, and it'll come back to him like a boomerang! He'll also be able to create giant shockwaves by performing body slams. He can knock out foes around him and even break through certain floors. While playing as him, you'll find turkey drumsticks as health replenishment.
  • Master Zik is accompanied by his trusty stick. It has LOTS of uses. He can use it as a powerful weapon and also to guard himself from melee attacks (essentially Master Zik is who you play as if you're a hack and slash fan). He can also throw it into a wall and use it as a pole to perch on or swing around to traverse the world around him. While playing as him, you'll find various fruits as health replenishment.
  • The ever-charming Zeena is able to use her electromagnetic powers to create tractor beams to lift objects. She can use these as a mace to swing around at foes, or to move them around for puzzles. She's also highly athletic. Of the Six she's the best of traversing icy surfaces, she can spin her tail around like a helicopter to help her jump around and slow her descent, and she's skilled at parkour, being able to jump between and run along walls. While playing as her, you'll find plates of yummy spaghetti as health replenishment.
  • The enigmatic Zor can summon a temporary shadow double to fight alongside him. These shadow doubles will also be able to sense where secrets are in the level. Additionally he can send shadowy-construct-bat-things to attack foes from a distance. He's also capable of gliding for long distances, making him by far your best option for jumping over particularly long gaps. While playing as him, you'll find delicious pineapple pizza as health replenishment!
Along the Zeti's many travels, they'll meet lots of aliens who will provide them help along the way, either by giving them advice or offering special goodies that can help you out in return for a few Rings you've collected. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to fight an invading alien force causing trouble in the galaxy - and they're targeting the Lost Hex next! Progress the game by collecting Red Rings to help the Deadly Six's friends expand their armory and prepare to launch a counter-attack against the invaders. Additionally, seek out the special Blue Rings to fight each level's boss, and search for the special Red, Pink, Yellow, Blue, Green and White Flickies to help each individual Zeti become more powerful!

The worlds the Zeti travel through are set in the solar system the Sonic games take place in. Along with the Lost Hex itself, which acts as your hub level, levels will include Planet Wisp and many other planets - a tropical world, a prehistoric world, an ancient temple world, a spooky horror world and more. There are also side missions to accomplish such as races with NPC aliens, timed collection missions and even segments where the gang hops on one of Zavok's mechanical dragons and fly through space to fight alien fleets.

And for an extra blast of fun, there's also options for multiplayer! Play with up to three other people to traverse the worlds together, or compete against each other in minigames.

Very nice! I love it! I would also love to see more of how the Deadly Six interact in such a game.

By the way, I have some more Sonic gameplay ideas for you all if you don't mind.

1. In the 3D sections, which are mostly linear, there would be perpendicular pathways perpendicular to the main road which act as shortcuts, alternate routes or routes to hidden things. They would be accessed by turning, the Drift or a Dash Pad.

2. In 2D, there would be sections where there would be wall running where the walls that can be run on are transitioned to corkscrews, loops and other things. The parts of the level may transition from wall running, corkscrewing or whatever to back.

3. In some 2D sections, there are 3D sections that are transitioned to from 2D but are short, where Sonic can go forward and just transition back to 2D at the end or use the environment in the 3D section to go to other nearby pathways in all directions, all of which are 2D. So these 3D sections act as a hub to other 2D sections.

4. In 2D sections, there are large areas connected to the 2D paths that, when Sonic runs through their roads, has him go all over the 2D area, which may be a small or big square or other shape. Sometimes, these areas can be labyrinth like, but still 2D.

5. Vertical Drift: When Jumping in some sections, holding the Drift button and tilting the control stick left, right, up or down will cause Sonic to do an "Aerial Drift", where Sonic can go over or under obstacles (forward and backward) and side to side around obstacles vertically. This can be used without obstacles, too, but when with an obstacle, the player must tilt the control stick accordingly to change Sonic's direction around the obstacle. This can be used over bottomless pits, too. if Sonic is on the ground or flying as Super Sonic at a level altitude, he will just do a normal, horizontal Drift.

6. Reverse Drift: When braking by tilting the control stick backward, Sonic can then boost to go backward and then drift to do a Reverse Drift, which allows him to Drift in reverse. This is useful for making multi-point turns like a vehicle.

7. Drift Cyloop: When Drifting in a fully circular area, Sonic can do a Cyloop by completing the circle and if the player holds down the Cyloop button. It does not matter if the Cyloop doesn't connect, for if Sonic makes a circle, nonetheless, he will make a strong Cyloop that outdoes the regular Cyloop in strength.

8: Sharp Corner Looping: After getting an upgrade, Sonic Adventure style, Sonic can run on or Spin Dash through loops that have sharp corners. This has to do with mainly loops in the form of a square in terms of sharp corners, and without curves, they would normally not be able to be traversed without the upgrade to allow Sonic to move on them.

So, what do you all think?

Thanks! And oh same, I need more inter-group interactions with these six. Even beyond my ship.

I like to think Zazz and Zomom would have the BEST friendship dynamic. And maybe it's just me, but I always thought Zavok and Zeena would have this really wholesome "big brother and little sister"-like dynamic. At least that's how I've always seen it.

As for your ideas, I really like these. These would make for really fun additions to a traditional-style Sonic game. (Drift Cyloop is a REALLY cool name.) And man I miss the Sonic Adventure-style upgrades, those were really neat and I'd love to see those back.

Agreed on the Adventure styled upgrades. Glad you liked my ideas!

Anyway, yeah, I do think that Zazz and Zomom would get along so well, actually.

I could write entire essays on how I think the individual Deadly Six interaction dynamics would go. Maybe because for a while I experimented with ideas for a whole Deadly Six-focused cartoon series.

Of course I did just already write a whole essay so no-one needs to see me blabber more right now lol
