I like to assume Palutena acts the way she does is because she knows he can handle it...and because it was likely how she was like when Medusa was her friend. Once that went downhill she went into a broken and lonely state of mind. Add that with a possible touch of PTSD (Chaos Kin), and you got yourself a goddess who’s hiding her true feelings (without Pit to look at or talk to) who is only happy when by Pit’s side (take the “you need to make some friends” comment she made at the end of chapter 4 as some sort of unintended clue if you want)

If Pit could fly and Palutena pushed him too far, he’d probably just quit on her...never speaking or talking to her again unless something massive happened

I'll have to have a look into that though it seems possible. Still, she should consider Pit's feelings (especially the wing topic) since he is really the one good soldier she has. I'd still have to check back at the Dark Pit parts and see some things he's said as well since he technically is a part of Pit, his darker side that is.

I'd almost want to see this happen, at least the "quit on her" part, not only to see how Palu might learn from the consequences of her actions, but to see how Pit will develop on his own and if he may make friends on a solo adventure. Could be a nice twist if Pit did get a new game.

I would love to make a game of my own too one day, I have been working with 3D models for sometime now, however, when it comes to the actual coding and programming side, things are lacking a bit too much on my side. I'll probably have to follow a full time course for something like that, maybe one day.

This should've been Sonic's new Dash Attack, the scene in World Adventure/Unleashed where he mows down a large group of Eggman's robots with his fist.

A bloody awesome scene.

Having a lot of kicking moves makes sense, but just one more punching move would've been nice.

On the topic of Indie reps, who do you guys think has a chance of being the first Indie rep in Smash?
I personally only see Shantae, Quote and Reimu for potential Indie reps, in this order from most likely to less likely.

I honestly think quite a few people are sleeping on the possibility of Commander Video. The Bit.Trip series has been on Nintendo consoles for its entire lifespan, and Runner3 released just last year. Not to mention the fact that they had a trophy in Smash 4 yet no Spirits in Ultimate...

I kinda forgot about him, so I looked him up and remembered who he is. Doesn't Slenderman appear as an easter egg in one of his games? Also, how would he fight? I haven't really played any of his games yet so I don't know, sorry.

Sinnoh's soundtrack has a lot of really really good songs, even as someone who doesn't like the games I still go back and listen to some of the tracks from time to time, but the soundfont is so poor, especially compared to the Gen 5 music we'd get later. Worst example is probably the Hall of Fame theme, it sounds like an intentionally awful parody version of the regular theme. I guess the one thing I can take from the inevitable remakes of the games is that its soundtrack will at least be done justice.

On the topic of Pokémon Switch, I really hope they re-do the animations to have the same level of personality as Colosseum/BR. It's incredibly unlikely, but I'm tired of these stiff and lifeless animations, there was an excuse for the 3DS games at least, but looking at Let's Go you wouldn't think it was made by a company as successful as Game Freak are. I really don't think there's too much of an excuse for things to have moved backwards over the past decade in this regard when Pokémon is as big as it is.

I hope so, too. Pokemon Battle Revolution was one of my favorite games as a kid. I just loved that we could take our little pixel sprite Pokemon and see them realized in full 3D. Not to mention the sometimes hilarious announcer that commentated on matches; I loved that feature a lot. I don't know what to expect from Switch Pokemon, but I think Pokemon in the 3DS games have decent animations for attacking, at least. Hopefully they can capitalize on the greater power of the console to bring more character to the Pokemon.

And regarding the soundfont issue: I'm just numb to it. I played the Sinnoh games for hundreds of hours. That soundfont is the soundfont of my childhood.

That's a mystery to me. I recall the Juggernauts (those mechanical things) were in development after the Hewdraw attack, but even then, them just throwing rocks... That's pretty low-tech for a Goddess, it might as well be modified and be sent to Viridi for Cragalanche. It's a mystery to why she doesn't invest in a better army while keeping Pit as the captain (if he decides to stay). Maybe she should take her own advice she once said to Pit and put her non-Pit troops into boot camp so she actually has a decent chance against opposing foes.

In 0.2 kingdom hearts wasnt the big heart in the sky, but the door from KH1 and the reason Mickey had no shirt in that ending was because it was blasted off of him
