I just threw in some tech chases anyways, I had a feeling you already knew them but I was on a roll and kept posting lol.
Wario can jump pretty high up with just two jumps, of course he can't fly (that would be cool) but that doesn't mean Wolf can just do Bair WOP all day without there being weak spots near his head, below him, and on the other side of him.
Wario has stronger kill moves than Wolf's Dsmash, but it does have decent range and sweeps on both sides, so it's a pretty decent kill option.
Forward B can spike, but it won't save you if you fall too far vertically below the lip. I've hit Wolf out of Side B before on purpose, and Wario can recover well even if he does managed to get spiked. Wolf just doesn't get along with good edgeguarding/gimping characters, and Wario happens to be one of them.
The main points are basically Wolf has a bit more range on most stuff, Wario kills better with more powerful moves and better edgeguarding, Wolf has a better defensive game when given the space, and Wario has the better offensive game when they are close. Wolf doesn't have any really good pressure combos that Wario has, and Wolf can't exactly edgeguard Wario too well.
If Wario and Wolf traded hits, % for %, Wario would come out on top since his kill moves are stronger and he can generally edgeguard a lot better/easier than Wolf can. This, combined with how insanely powerful the Waft is, and I think those points alone merit a small advantage for Wario.
Edit: Saw Phantom's post, you covered some points, but I think you're exaggerating a bit when you talk about how much it shuts down Wolf. He has a lot of attacks that will beat Chomp, but they do have to be spaced well, and that is hard to do sometimes if Wario is breathing down your neck.
