.. did I miss something? Bungie has never said Halo 3 would be out in time for the 2006 Holiday season. You know, at the end of the E3 trailer it says "Finish the Fight. 2007."? Yeah.and if Bungie keeps their word, Halo 3 will be on store shelves next month.
Wow. Where have you been. This was hinted A LONG time ago. Things have changed since then.Bungie hinted that Halo 3 will be released on the same day as the PS3. I'm assuming they expected the PS3 hit stores in 2007.
That comment was made in May of 2005. A LOT has changed since then."Note to the hard-core faithful: the next version of Halo will not, repeat not, be ready in time for the launch of Xbox 360. It will be part of the all-important second wave next spring. 'It's perfect,' Gates says, radiant with bloodlust. 'The day Sony launches [the new PlayStation], and they walk right into Halo 3.'"
Gah, sorry about that. I forgot the first rule of posting a supposed fact on the Internet, double check your source. But I do have this month's EGM in front of me, and on page 32 it says "Sony already announced it nixed its original shipment to Europe," so at least in Europe Nin could be, or actually is, launching first. >.>Oh hey, Nin said they would release before the PS3, and now they are; you don't think they anticipated that, do you? At least the stores won't be as crowded probably.
Now somebody needs to make Chuck Norris.
Forgive my ignorance, but is that possible on SWF? Can I ask someone to make a Mii for um... me and give a link or somehow get it into the Wii? I want my person to look as emo as possible. Now somebody needs to make Chuck Norris.
That is true now, but it was pretty funny... a few years ago. Especially when Conan had the yellow Norris leaver on his show.Churck Norris should die. No one should make anything about Norris at all, 'cause the people who do Chuck Norris jokes are the people who walk around screaming 'I'm Rick James, *****!' and saying 'git-r-dun.'
These people should be shot and banished to the sun.
Cashed, please...Were you? That explains a lot.
Ok, sorry. This is way after the fact (oh, not really, it was earlier today!)...but I'm pretty sure that this is not true.Target is ready for wii: http://pre.textamerica.com/?r=5419800 ............and............. http://pre.textamerica.com/?r=5419799
Wow, you must be pretty mature for a thirteen-year-old. Most the ones I know, or even fifteen-year-olds I know, would have reacted very immaturely to that.Cashed, please...
Cashed isn't mean so much as strict and at times brutally honest. But on the Internet, there really isn't a whole lot of difference. Hey Cashed, your dad isn't a drill seargent or anything like that, is he?...Cash eating babies and being mean is life? Hmm...so:
Cash+Babies+mean=Life.
Cash+Mean Babies=Life.
Life-Mean Babies=Cash.
GJ Cash. If Life didn't contain mean babies, it would be you. :-D
Jeah, I'm tired. Deal.
I don't mind mean people, not saying anyone's mean. In fact, if I had my choice, I'd much rather have mean people than dumb people.blaksheap82 said:Cashed isn't mean so much as strict and at times brutally honest. Sensai, what's so confusing about this? "While Sony recently made it clear that they are spending $30 million to get their PlayStation 3 demo stations in 15,000 retail locations across North America, GameStop may be the only place that consumers will get a chance to test out the Wii during the launch period. 'Getting that controller into someone's hands is very important,' said GameStop president Steve Morgan." Gamestop is getting the demo stations exclusively, not the Wii itself.
Hey, I just noticed no one guessed my Wii creation. Somebody on here has to know!
Yeah, he's done that before. You better start compiling random information that was already compiled on other sites, or you may be out of a job.And lol @ the Great Marth's post title.
If you check the PS3 topic you'd see that it's only going to be launching 2 days before the Wii in Japan and US. Everywhere else has been delayed to about end of Q1 start of Q2 of 07.Gah, sorry about that. I forgot the first rule of posting a supposed fact on the Internet, double check your source. so how about it? mod powers for me sounds good right? And lol @ the Great Marth's post title.
I'm sorry. I'm a technical idiot...what does this mean? I mean, I know it means that it'll look better (slightly? Hugely?) on a HDTV, but what about us poor guys who just have normal TV's? Is there any advantage in buying one, save that we MIGHT upgrade? The Great Marth said:Third-Party accessory company Pelican is manufacturing component cables for the Wii according to my US wholesaler contact. While an original cable might cost around $60 or so, Pelican’s Component Cable accessory should cost as little as $15! The following is a description of the item:
“Component Video Cable Wii. Pelican’s Component Video Cables provide more color detail than S-Video and are an ideal solution for using your Wii with your HDTV. Delivers a more vivid and vibrant picture and true 75-Ohm impedance for the ultimate home theater experience.”
These links LOOK to be Wii demo booths, but the article I linked earlier (http://biz.gamedaily.com/industry/feature/?id=13980) says that they can't be, because only GameStop locations will have demo booths.Target is ready for wii: http://pre.textamerica.com/?r=5419800 ............and............. http://pre.textamerica.com/?r=5419799
