yeah I really hope they hit BLS. I'm not sure where they could go with hitting XYZs. Tour guide is the most logical option to hit (alternatively Sangan, limiting Tour Guide's uses).

It wouldn't surprise me because of Konami's dislike of OTKs and such. And REDMD is admittedly one of the dumbest cards ever. I just don't think Dragons are really strong enough. They're really popular and they don't place like other decks. Hitting BLS already hurts them, removing their strongest answer to difficult situations. I dunno if they need it. (coming from someone who doesn't play Dragons, so this isn't personal bias.)

I'm just surprised none of you said Rabbit. Rabbit is one of the stupidest cards ever, and it's not going to get any less stupid on it's own.

What about cards coming off the list? A lot of people say DMoC, and I honestly expected it myself. Until the Prophecy deck filled out, now I'm like nooope. But you know how Konami would love to put DMoC back just to make Prophecy popular. Some people even say Tribe Infecting Virus, which would be ridiculous for Atlanteans/Mermails. Maybe it could come back I dunno.

REDMD will get hit because of Gustaph Max coming out, not just because of Dragons in general imo. Card broke a dope dope.

Rabbit can be sided against pretty ez imo. I want Laggia or Dolkka to get hit before Rabbit does.

Tour Guide is a maybe.
I don't think Rabbit is that bad, either; you need to have both copies of the Normal monster, and if you don't draw Rabbit fast, the chances of getting them are lower and lower. If anything I'd limit Laggia/Dolkka.
I don't think they unban anything. Spore and Bulb are both powerful, but they lose strenght by having only one of them, I'd love to see one unbanned, but with Konami promoting xyz's, I highly doubt that happens.

I'd be willing to take the opposite standing and say that REDMD WON'T be hit at all. With heiratics just being released no one would want to play it if you had to like, work to win. Besides Konami loves dragons more than anything in the world, they never hit dragons, only add more support lol.

I personally want to see bunny get limited, possibly hornet, though dragonfly is lolgood I feel hornet is what makes the deck silly. Also I expect deep sea diva to get banned. Because waters are a thing now and players can't be allowed to synchro summon, how the Hell will we be able to sell xyzs like that?

I'm fairly new to this competitive scene, so this'll be the first banlist revision I run into after having played the game for about a year. Unlike fighting games, I do not understand the criteria for limiting and banning. It almost seems arbitrary or even influenced by the card economy.

I know you said it was "OCD" for you to "correct" people or whatever, but sometimes things are better left unsaid. It's called having an opinion. And, there's a difference between having an opinion and shoving your opinion in other people's faces.

You said want to make more friends, right? Here's a start: try listening to other people's opinions as well, and learn to just let go. A little less attitude will go a long way.
I know you can get the friends you want, it just takes work and effort.

I have just randomly made this deck in like 20 minutes, I tested it like twice and it worked quite well. Still has some flaws, but man, it was so much fun for a random deck.
If it can actually be improved and somehow become good, let me know.

Only acquired 3 spell books of power so far and a few monsters/spells

Makes me sad that I'm tearing apart the deck Ive been using for around a year (with alterations to fit the format/to be able to stay somewhat viable of course), but I'm happy that spellbooks are awesome n fun

I was only surprised by Tsukuyomi being unbanned.
Other than that, most of the changes were expected, some others were even necessary.
Some others were stupid, like banning Future Fusion (one of the most inoccent cards of the bunch), and killing the whole Synchro concept by banning Brionac.

Future fusion literally broke chaos dragons, though I think with limiting Sorc and REDM its not worth the ban anymore. Spore is back <4 and debris at 2 whoo. Banning brio is kinda ********, kinda really ********. I also think limiting both dragonfly and hornet is a bit excessive. More realistically they should have kept drqgonfly at three and just banned hornet, forcing an xyz build, which honestly isn't that bad. The semi-limit on tourguide isn't that bad imo, I may just end up running a tour bus now. I like this ban list a lot more than the last one. Also tsukuyomi is unbanned. Holy **** the game is doomed. Here we go with those ultra broken flip effect otk decks again.

Tsukuyomi doesn't have to flip your opponent's monster's face-down. It could do it to any monster on the field. That means Flip Effect abuse, which were a bit more prevalent back in the day. Mask of Darkness? Infinite traps. Magician of Faith... see where I'm goin' with this?

A Book of Moon with a body that protects itself is no joke. She can kill DaD or Leviathan Dragon on her own.

Tsukuyomi+Ryko.
There goes half of your deck and many of your opponent's cards.

IMO, Tsukuyomi is not that bad, you have to spend your Normal Summon and to make your monster to survive the previous turn.
Unless we go back to the Threatening Roar metagame, I don't think that will have a really big impact.
I could be wrong (and probably am, as I don't follow the tiptop metagame), tho.

If you want to waste your normal summon for a book of moon that's fine. If you honestly think tsukuyomi is even slightly gpod, especially in the current meta then grand mole must be ****ing GOD MODE.

Tsukuyomi was banned because during older years flip effects were actually really powerful and more commonly seen, and slower, more defensive play was common. Now the only good card tsukuyomi comboed with is banned and its effect tp get over a couple of big monsters is pretty meaningless.

That's pretty much what I was getting at before. Are we at some sort of mentality where anything that comes off the banlist is amazing? I don't think anything will be coming out to break Tsukuyomi any time soon, but it's a pretty thin line with such a generic, decent effect.
