Good luck. That sounds interesting. I play Zelda and PT but rarely doubles and then friendlies on wifi. I didn't ever think about how PT and Zelda would team together.

Hehe we teamed up once at a smashfest and we did pretty well. We aren't static partners though so next tourney, I'll be with somebody else

I never teamed with a PT before, but cool. I wonder which one of the Pokemon would work the best with Zelda?

^I'd guess Char because his flamethrower and rock smash and great grab game could combo with Zelda's moves easily for big damage.
PTs have to swap through all their pokemon and can't use just one; it's a pain in several MUs.

Some wifi lag makes me 14-22 frames slow and if the opponent switches characters, or I do, then I'm constantly timing moves slow and can't shake that. If the opponent stays the same character for 2 or 3 games then I start to adjust.

i'll probably be going 90% Zelda and switch in peach/jp as counter picks.

i think squirtle could be a fun partner because he can run around and doing damage to the other team. he's also small and won't be so easy to hit like charizard is. i've never teamed w/ PT though...i'm also not great at teams.

Woo got last Like 5th or something. Really small turnout where I ended up with a bad bracket for going Fox lol.

Played Zelda and Fox today. Lost to a Lucario (placed first) and then a Falco... >_> Got a set where I got wrecked saved and hopefully it'll be uploaded.

Yeah I went Zelda in bracket. Johns but I honestly was very rusty with her due to learning/maining Peach now.

Doubles didn't happen due to lack of people (when it was supposed to start) but next time!

Yeah when I use Peach for too long (I use her sometimes for fun) I'll randomly try to 'float' with Zelda (though the thought of that is very amusing for some reason). And sometimes if I use Zelda too much and go Peach, I'll use Toad, thinking I'm trying to Love Jump, and wishing I could Toad Jump - but to no avail.

When Wolf/Link/Ivy/(occasionally Squirt/Char/Ganon) are recovering from the side, ForwardB is a smart, common thing to do. For Zelda it is a very different story. I've Din's SDed a lot in the past from habit.

^this part never stopped me. You can probably find recording devices that work fine for cheap on Ebay or whatever. IDK what system you have. People on the forums are helpful for getting started.

Ven really skewed up his wins. Like the fact he beat Z once but failed to mention he lost to him every other time they met. He listed like only two losses but a load of wins including sandbagged ones.

Not sure if I respect that...
