I disagree. Shields screw with Zelda's regular and smash attacks as is. Weaker shields would require people to contest Zelda's standard attacks far more often, since shielding wouldn't be able to just stomp on her like it does now.

I refuse to talk about her specials because there's nothing you can reasonably do to make them both good and not-obnoxious.

I mean... How I see her right now, she is really strictly tools without a base. You're right with the lack of approach (which is why it's so fun to just charge at someone, trips them out) and she has a plethora of weaknesses.

I agree in the light that she was designed to be a glass cannon. It kinda is obvious to see. It is hard to succeed but she still has niches where she can do well I think.

Funny thing is that, except for the Aerial Attacks tweaking, a lot of the listed changes were made for Balanced Brawl.
And the load time when you change from Sheik to Zelda (and vice-versa) was also improved.

Zelda's glass cannon aspects help her more in doubles.
IMO Zelda vs Ganon is +1 not +2. IDK where the +2 came from. Link v Ganon is +1 and Link does slightly better than Zelda imo.

Imo Jigglypuff Zelda is either 0 or -1.
I don't have much to go by though because only Jigglypuff I've played in tournament is Thinkaman and that was only once.
I feel like if the Jigglypuff played super campy Zelda couldn't really do anything and it would be a -1, on the other hand if Zelda's in the lead it's super hard for Jigglypuff to get in in Zelda has the lead so idk.

that's basically how it is and why it's hard to give it a 0 or -1. i'm no pro, but i know from playing it from both sides it really comes down to camping and if Zelda can gain 1% lead.

Lol yeah, I believe you. I know what it's like to have very few (offline) videos because my region is so bad at uploading anything. It's really hard to convince people a bad character can actually do well. Although for the record, in my experience Ganon/Zelda is -/+1. I think there are some people who are exceptionally good with a character(s) and that is hard to grasp for people who haven't played them. This applies more to uncommon low tiers.
When I've played people like DLA's Ganon, the Ad/mi...ral 's Pit (who said he'd teach me the MU and never did >:[), Mocha or Linkz' Zelda, Pe,.nta's G&W, Se/agu ll's or Tear's MK... lol I won't list them all. The point is really good people just shock you at what characters can do. I think people need more exposure to really good players of each character.

I was a little disappointed with how much Link was downplayed myself but that's how the cookie crumbles
