The knowledge that multiple advert mascots are public domain has made me realise that something like the plot of Epic Mickey but with Mickey and Oswald swapped for proto-Ronald and Speedee, and other old ads that entered the public domain in place of all the obscure Disney stuff, would be awesome.

Even though I call them "ewaste", I don't actually think Amiibos are environmentaly problematic - carbon footprints and recycling are oil industry cover-ups, buy as much plastic tat as you want - I think it's just funny to call them that, since they're probably the only mass-produced plastic toys I never see called "landfill bait" or such like you see for Funko Pops and Legos.

Every time I say or think the word "Fortnite" or "fortnight", I say it in the TTS Yoda voice, and I have no clue why. It's absolutely a reference to something, but god be damned if I know, I have a good memory, but not a good enough memory to remember every ****y Krack Back or MrMrMangoHead video.

Basically just skimmed through the Gen 3 Pokemon list for the Brawl DLC thread, and I just realised that Skitty is actually a perfect fit for Smash with its big ol' tail and hyperactive cat-brain. Surprised I've never seen it brought up (or really any pink-frilly-girly-girl Pokemon that isn't Tinkaton or a Puff line evo now I think about it) given its relative popularity and the technical prescedent set by Puff

I recently saw someone suggest that they actively wanted AI to take people's jobs just so adaptations will be more faithful to their source material. I think I finally get the anti-AI stance. The AI bros are real, guys.

Bullying people and acting like Socrates over images of Shrek doing a mukbang is still ****ing stupid though, so I still refuse to label myself "anti-AI", and I will still be using the funny incoherent voices, and will still be ruthlessly mocking anti-AI-bros for the above. Call me an AI centrist.

Every time PETA or the Vegan Teacher or whoever pulls some ****, you'll get a lot of vegans commenting on videos and articles that "they don't represent us!" - but if you ever read comments sections on vegan-specific spaces about this sorta thing, you'll see that the vegan community actually has a really hard time condemning Objectively Bad And Wrong Things.

I'm looking at the Brawl Sticker list, and TBH I think I prefer stickers over spirits. Their format allows for a lot of cool art to be used that wouldn't be possible with the lore of spirits - you've got a lot of vintage art like puppet Fox and Greg Martin Sonic, the prophecy from Wind Waker is there, some spirits are related to gameplay mechanics that technically don't physically manifest; and some stickers even have backgrounds.
