Ha, sorry guys on not updating, I've been busy and then lazy and then I started a Nuzlocke run and drew funny pictures and then I forgot and then I got busy again. On the bright side I know how to hook up an IV if any of you guys go to the hospital, haha.

I'll try to get this updated in the next couple of days here after this round of tests.

Great Matches kitsune! ( I mean you beat Leon, one of the best european players!)
Some things I notice:
- you can improve your SDI to get out of that dair strings and punish it with uair
- charge and spam more punch
- needs more charged smashes when peach is at the edge
- more grabs as a mix-up

Other than that, I really like your patient spacing game with bair :-)

Here's some of my first matches, I felt like I played really well here and didnt make too many obvious mistakes (aside from killing KRD a couple times) their ground setup was just too good, I'd like to know what we could have done better the 1st and 3rd match.

It's alright man. Double Oli looks SOOO damn hard. Especially because I know for a fact they are really good Oli players.

I actually really loved your use of the ground pound in doubles, in addition to KRD's nice range in attacks. It was like a giant stage sweep. If I were you, practice things like that in doubles. You control the whole stage if you can do it. Try it with a Peach main next time.

:3 You got your ground pound + Peach's short hop> float pressure game. That can actually be pretty amazing.

you don't need to be less aggro, just cross up more. empty hop behind them and grab

My DK is usually more active and patient than that though.



But as a brawler, we can never really satisfy ourselves with our own replays.

It's hard to critique a match where you A. play a person that isn't that good according to you, and B. Is such a landslide victory there aren't any mistakes or problems to critique.

I used to play peach, best of the best here, but to be honest im not really going so well tourney wise with peach, so its been a while since i use her, im giving more priority to Olimar and DK, which have gotten me top 3 positions in the last 3 tourneys. (1st, 3rd and 2nd)

I love peach with all my heart, but its just not easy anymore, everyone here has learned to counter her and im struggling alot.

I pretty much really liked the way you played the MU.

What a lot of people don't understand is that Peach's dash away is fast enough to bait Marth's Fair into Bairs and Fsmashes. I think you were a little too comfortable using the shield, and I'm surprised that the Marth didn't abuse that enough. Be more confident in your combos. :(

Peach can string a lot more than that together, but I did like how you kept your moves fresh.

Another thing a lot of people don't understand about Peach is her ability to rack up damage without having to go ape ****. All of those baited Fsmashes, turnips, Fairs and Bairs racked up damage fairly quickly without having to be spammed.

I like your Peach. :3 I always see something different every time I see her played.

Well i made my own peach style, i actualy learned by myself, before i was to lazy to even check the smashboards, i kinda hated it... lol. And all i learned was based on experience and inventing on my own.

I was best peach here, but im just losing it :( dont know why, The reason i chose Peach as a character was becaseu the same marth you saw in the video kept ****** my Olimar (we had no gaming experience back then) i got pissed and switched to a new Main, peach was comfortable so i mained her.

But now that ive gotten into the boards, have done more research my Olimar is the best, same as DK, and the amount of trouble i get of my back using these feels good. Peach is to much struggle IMO.

But she fun as hell! If only she had a bigger grab.... and could kill.... and a fast fall..... id still be maining her.

lol picking up Peach to deal with Marth. I really do like how you play Peach though, how grounded you were, but you were still very fast about everything. This is kinda the DK video/critique thread so I can't give you any Peach advice lol. Also Peach's grab is awesome (imo) I wouldn't be complaining about that.

I actually went back and watched some of my old replays and really miss playing Zelda. I still play her in friendlies(until a MK sits down lol) but it's just not the same. I actually regret not pulling her out vs ROB and vs DDD a lot. I'm too dedicated to DK.

lol DK mains and princesses. We have a soft side too!

Yeah, her grab range is CRAP, but her dash grab is pretty hot. She caaann kill, but you need to learn how to be patient and play around with your opponents bad habits. Peach's Usmash is her kill move. It is THE kill move. Sweet spotting her Usmash takes some time in learning how to land, but it pays of super well. She can kill with it at 90. I think anything above 110% no matter what character they will die no matter what from a sweet spotted Usmash. Fair is a kill move as well, but depending on the MU I'll either wall with ground floated Fair cancels, or save it for kills which isn't hard to do.

Marth is a HARD MU for Peach. When she catches the ledge, she'll say hello to about 80% just trying to get back on. Fair can shut her down if hit by the first one in an aerial string, and he can kill her ridiculously early.

And yeah, she's DAMN fun. As fun as she is, though, I take her very seriously as a character due to the major tech skill it takes to use her at full **** potential.

I take major pride in maining Peach and Donkey Kong. I can't stand when people say I second Donkey Kong, because I work just as hard with him as I do Peach.

I would still use peach, the thing is everyone picks MK against her... i dont get it, my friend wilmenz Mains snake and GaW... and when i chose peach, he chose MK.. wtf x(

I just really hate the MK MU.. with peach.

Damn im desperate to get some ****ing DK replays for you guys, so you can see my skill :3

I've actually seen this one before a while back. Again, I like your Peach being so grounded. guess what makes this MU a tad difficult is Fox's Usmash.. It always kills at 100. :/

Then with the lasers, he can ALWAYS refresh his whole move set. Nicely done. :)

Fox is just easy with peach, ground punishing is easy as you saw in the video, he cant dodge me :p.
As for the Upsmash, just spam Turnips after 100% he will be FORCED to approach you and the Usmash will be a bit more predictable, dont ROLL keep you Shield up no matter how small it gets, if you roll or dodge you will just make it easy for him to Usmash you. And when you are in 100%+ avoid doing Fair, just rack damage with Turnips and grabs.

Oh definitely. I know this is in Peach's favor, I just hate that she dies so early in the MU.

But definitely what you said. And watch for lasers. :(

Can't wait to see your replays. I really like seeing how different playstyles are in other countries. I need to get some of my own up too, I've been lazy about it.

Wow, played a bit more peach, she's definitely going to be someone I play, I think I'll second her along with DK.

EDIT: I have several people that also play competitively they live nearby to practice with, and wi-fi. SOME DAY I WILL BE GOOD WITH HER.

Not to say don't play Peach, but I think as a character she takes a big investment to be good with. Seconding her might not be the best idea, unless you play wifi and have the time to practice her, or just play her a lot. It's your choice though.
