=___=;

I answered his original problem (12% n-air) and told him that it was fractional damage, then edited my post after he responded, for the lulz.

>_> you guys actually read threads lol.

Well that was entertaining, rofl.
I was actually in the process of editing it, swearing that it does actually do 12%. Just to screw with the people who'd seen the truth before, now to see it disappear.
But the thread closed while I was editing it ;_;

You tech the wall, (use a walljumptech, not a normal walltech), and footstool DK.

If you can't, then don't get grabbed near the edge.

Maybe to counter zelda's fsmash, you can do a dtilt since it's faster than its startup lag or, a simple jab for the lolz.

I think you should DI upwards/away from it.

Sometimes, I can SDI out of it. Other times I SDI through and out of Zelda and still get launched. In the opposite direction.

Okay, so characters are finding it rather easy to edgehog me. As soon as i spring and cant get on stage, im dead. They however hang on the ledge, no invicibility frames. I want to stage spike them. What move do i use (bair not an option, im facing them)

F/N/sometimes Uair can work, but if you can you are much safer footstooling the opponent if possible...otherwise I suppose there's no choice but to try and take them down with you.

Let yourself drift more...Sonic should be able to recover from just about anywhere unless you let yourself go way too far. Also, if they're edgehogging you and they DON'T have invincibility frames, you can jump on their heads after a spring. If you want a khamakazi kill, you can fair them while recovering and possibly get a fair stage spike, lol.

Bair is always an option. If they just hang there without invincibility, HA could work (if facing them).

Then which one should I use?
EDIT: HA out of spring...? They're not gonna hang before i sprung
Sorry, it was hard to decipher your post. I thought you meant you just wanted to spike them...and they're just chillin' there...and you're facing him. Was anything else I suggested helpful?

Om Bowsers Side B Slam. You have Move instead of More.
Ike's whole body is the Hitbox for DSmash.
For Ivysaurs Bullet Seed you can Smash DI up to get out of it quicker.
For Pikas DSmash you have an extra "C" for cancel.
Just those few mistakes. Very Nice read :)

Learn to powershield. It's awesome. Practice shield dashing and powershielding and you will know the way to avoid any projectile spam.

back air anyway it still hits them with the front of sonics body...

but the best option is to footstool jump them its the only way to survive, it wont damage or effect them, but youll survive

one time i got my spring edgehogged and i passed by them just as their ivnc. frames wore off, and i was frantically mashing jump, and i wall jumped off of final D i believe to an almost instant facejump, it was sexy

i love this thread chis. Just so you know.

Why?

Some of it has to do with its content? The rest? Your mad ability to make this thread look sexy as pie.

you are mistaken on some things and some things dont have enough info

GaW's back air, another alternative, is to shield all the hits and than right before he does the final hit (the one where he lands on the ground) you can spot dodge that last hit and punish with jab, and i believe, forward tilt and down tilt.
also, if youare hit with the beginning of it, you can DI and SDI up to keep from taking max damage from it, and possibly setting up for a counterattack

GaWs n-air, DI ing up and away from it should make the damage you take from it minimal, spring if necessary

snakes n-air, DI ing and SDI ing up, should keep you from taking the last hit with the rediculous knockback. overswarm made a video about it, i will try to find it

EDIT GS who is that in your avatar

...Can someone please remind me why any Lucario worth his salt would be using Dsmash enough that you should make note of it? Wouldn't Fsmash be a better move to look into?

well someone is obviously having trouble with it.

just because you say the move isn't used often, doesn't mean that we can't formulate strategies for it.

Basically a thread where you ask for help and advice about a certain characters AT's, special attacks, recovery and more, and learn how to tackle them while contributing yourself and reading the rules first.

After seeing Tenki constantly telling other boards about Sonic's weakness with his AT, approaches and how to beat them, I thought I should make a topic discussing what other character's AT's, attacks, special attacks, recovery moves flaws. Ask about what attack you're having problems with and it'll be discussed. This is a bit like the other thread expect this one may be listed. And attacks to watch out for.
Response in yellow, however I'll look into that.
