I can imagine Chun-Li and Shadow being a double header in a Nintendo Direct.

I think in terms of third parties in the base game, that’ll do. Two hugely iconic series getting more content that they sorely need.

Yeah, I think it’s a toss up between Chun-Li and Zero. I’m leaning towards Zero because he’s already an Assist Trophy and Street Fighter has two characters compared to Mega Man’s one. I could see either one though.

I think its a coin toss between him and Phoenix Wright. Whichever Sakurai finds funnier to watch

Sakurai said Dante was a heavily requested fighter after the Mii Costume reveal, I think he'll be making it in Smash 6 at some point. If he doesn't then well...

I’ll gladly welcome Dante being an underdog prospect over how much we needed to hear about him during Ultimate DLC (lol).

Personally I’ve grown to find him probably the most likely Capcom prospect from a new IP. Out of everyone whose fan demand surged post-ballot, Dante feels like the one with the strongest visibility and equivalent east and west pull. But the way I see it I think he’s more DLC material (I mean, look at him) and someone like Chun-Li is a safer base game grab.

Monster Hunter is a good prospect as well but I err on the side of caution since they were skipped over through all of Ultimate… new information and success has risen since them to urge them to reconsider but if it doesn’t happen this time then something is in the water. Resident Evil should reasonably be a strong candidate but I worry Sakurai may not feel he can do it justice.
