The least likely on the list in my opinion is Splatoon 1.
Needs more Fighters Pass 3. And Booster Course Pass 2.
There's also Layton "supposedly" coming this year as a last big Switch 1 exclusive, but I don't really trust Level 5 that we're going to see the game in this direct or at all this year.
Gamecube on NSO seems pretty unlikely.
Probably saved for the Switch 2 if it happens.

I hope so. While a port would be nice, I'd be tempted to buy an HD-2D port as soon as possible. (the only reason why I might not is because I have the DS version)
Ideally, I’d love something more ambitious like a full new sequel but I’ll be happy if we can just play the original game on modern hardware for now. An HD-2D remaster would be even better.
I think Doomguy is also up there. Not gonna lie , before his Mii costume i though DOOM would never get in Smash Bros., but now that doomguy is a mii costume, then there's probably no problems with his inclusion as a fighter.
At least there would be more things represented outside of just Classic Megaman if he is playable since he will likely come with stage either based on X or Zero series of games.
If Zero gets in, it's going to give flashbacks to some Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 players xD.
The running gag is that every time Zero shows up in a game he's always the strongest and most broken character.
Mainly? He's got an aerial attack where he does a big spin with his sword (dubbed the pizza cutter) that, I assume, is super disjointed if not just really big. He also has a shadow clone super which is a super strong super type on any character, but in his case it lets him pull off an infinite with his dive kick that he can combo into.
Another way Infinite isn't truly infinite.
Planet Robobot remake, Crono Trigger Remake, plants vs zombies game, Shadow Labyrinth, Shantae Advance, and fire emblem remake
Man, I hope we get that. It would be awesome to finally see Chrono Trigger get some love after so long. Are you thinking they’d keep things simple and go for an HD-2D style remake or would they get more ambitious and go for something closer to Dragon Quest 11? I’m leaning g towards the first option for a straight remake but a future sequel could be an option too. If we get more Chrono Trigger of any kind, it gives me an excuse to talk about Magus more often here lol. I wonder how much these new projects will help the series’ Smash chances.
The one positive with the game is that at least X and Monster Hunter were in that game.
If we are lucky, maybe we will get some Chrono Trigger content in next Smash Bros. Maybe even a character like Magus.
Getting Magus would make up for losing Sephiroth. He’s one of the very few characters in gaming I like more than Sephiroth. Ideally, Id like to keep both but I could live with that.
Honestly, i barely remember most of his moveset, it has been a long time since i played that game (I think i stoped playing by October 2012 when i was 14 lol), so i'll "explain" it with a picture.
Yeah, Sephiroth is overrated to me. I would like to see Magus in if Sephiroth is it.
