Kirby Dragons
Smash Hero
Well I'm glad Smash is being released later and not sooner. And I wanted to see some Kirby in the Direct, so the announcement of Air Riders was nice.

Probably not. Street Fighter 6 will have rollback since that's what it was built with, but Nintendo likely isn't going to tough their own servers.Okay fine. Does it mean Nintendo updated their online services then?
If its much later then its likely that it will be a Gen 10 Pokemon unless its something like Ogerpon.Does mean the chances for some newcomers(Alear and Meowscarada/a Gen 9 Pokemon, namely). I know plenty won't be too sad about it, but I actually did quite like Meowscarada and a lot of the gen 9 roster.
Dex you know this was posted before Totally-Not-Bloodborne was revealedYes you are, because if a Fromsoft gets into Smash, it'll Nintendo's.![]()
I'm curious who will actually be publishing it.Yes you are, because if a Fromsoft gets into Smash, it'll Nintendo's.![]()
I've seen numerous sites throwing that around but my concern is whether that's before or after the tariffs. The Price is $450
Jesus…yeah, i think i'm tired of winning.

Echoes of Wisdom With Zelda Maker and Link Mode! The lack of a price is weird, but then again, maybe the economy is in play.
I can see a Summer Direct happening. The lack of anything beyond July is strange. Would be a good time to announce Animal Crossing or something.
In terms of Switch 2 Editions, what Switch 1 games are primed for such a thing? I’m thinking at least Xenoblade 2 coming alongside a new epilogue story, or maybe Pikmin 4? Stuff like Smash Ultimate, Splatoon 3, or Mario Maker 2 could go either way.
The inevitable Mario 40th Anniversary Direct later this year would be the time to announce a lot of Mario stuff.
I do think a new Smash could come within the next two years, if there is no Smash Ultimate NS2 Edition.
For GCN Classics, I can see Mario Kart Double Dash getting in during the Mario 40th Anniversary Direct.
And we thought $70 was a bit too much.Everything looks so wonderful and then the prices made me physically say eww...

So from this it looks like no Nintendo games have any issues except for Nintendo LABO Toy-Con 04: VR Kit because the Switch is bigger. For 3rd parties, it's a bit of a crapshoot.Nintendo released this backward compatability page on their website.
The lists of games that aren't compatible are... interesting to say the least.
In other news, the Smash Bros Twitter account retweeted today’s direct.
Last tweet was in 2023.
No offense, but i don't see how you're "winning".yeah, i think i'm tired of winning.

I mean given the active development of Sakurai's projects tend to be two years and change, and Air Ride started in 2022, that would land the next Smash in 2027-ish, which is a year later than most thought but still pretty plausible, especially if 3D Mario and Gen X are indeed next year.Honestly? I think assuming Studio S was built for Super Smash Bros., I think that leads more credence to it being Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch Edition, since a whole new title would take much of Sakurai's attention. If it were just an enhanced port, it'd be much more believable for Sakurai to work on it simultaneously with Kirby Air Riders.
Given that, it's likely that we are just getting a port, or Sakurai is not at the helm of the next game. Or Studio S isn't making Smash. One of the three.
I am so so happy that the newcomers for Mario Kart are insane and a complete 180 from MK8's base roster!!!!Super freaking excited for the new Mario Kart. Expecially since the new open world design hasn't gotten rid of retro tracks.
Also, COOOOOOWW!!!

Yeah, 2027 seems pausible. Smash 4 was released 2 years after WiiU's launch after all.I mean given the active development of Sakurai's projects tend to be two years and change, and Air Ride started in 2022, that would land the next Smash in 2027-ish, which is a year later than most thought but still pretty plausible, especially if 3D Mario and Gen X are indeed next year.
OK I was laughing at playable Biddybud, but FISHBONES?!?I MEAN LOOK AT THIS??????
I mean there weren't any DK characters besides DK, and we've even gotten them before. Were there no WarioWare characters (not including Wario himself) in the Mario Kart trailer? Honestly would be kinda surprised if none showed up. Odd that one of the most noteworthy Mario spin-off series doesn't really get much rep in big Mario games imo.
I think it could have been, and I love that wheelchair basketball is a game like this, but the game's presentation is super boring. Was surprised how little they demonstrated the mouse controls and didn't think the wheelchair basketball game was that interesting of a new IP to showcase this - it seems like Rocket League but a decade late and with mouse controls.
bUt ThE gAmE iSn’T eVeN fInIsHeD!!!1!!!Also Deltarune being a launch title is kinda nuts. Nintendo clearly views it as a big game, considering it got a spotlight in a showcase as big as this. Definitely something to keep an eye on for the next smash...
