So apparently, the reason the Nintendo eShop is being under such a long maintenance period is due to them moving everything onto a different server.

If the Soul Calibur series ever makes a grand return to Nintendo consoles, it would be neat if Link returned and/or Marth appeared as a new guest character.

Marth fits more in the SC universe than Link IMO but Link was a great choice.

As fun as Shulk could potentialy be in a Soul Calibur game, he would be as much of a sore thumb as the Star Wars characters.

It actually seems plausible if SC6 is on the NX and Shulk can easily be a fighter. I know it was a joke request but it can work but I'm going by ascetics and the timeline in history that the game takes place.

I've been playing Souclaliber 4 recently, it's a great game, but why are there Star Wars characters, I mean I know Namco was involved with the Force Unleashed, but was this really the best game for the characters to be in? They don't really fit if you ask me.

Well Xenoblade isn't fully Sci-Fi like Metroid or Star Fox but it isn't too far fetched of a franchise to be easily seen in Soul Calibur. It's just than Zelda, FE and even Kid Icarus fits the series moreso
