The reason I'd like to see Dixie in is because I have fond memories of DKC2 and 3. Most likely she'll be a semi-clone, but she could be unique depending on what the dev team decides on if she's included. I know most people feel we'll get one or the other but I don't see why both K. Rool and Dixie can't be playable. The DK series is certainly big enough.

Nice job deeming Tabuu illogical because you think he's unoriginal in the exact same sentence where you said you refuse to see people shoot down realistic character predictions because of biased opinion. Round of applause.

You can't write off retro characters like that because it destroys the entire purpose of them in the first place. Besides, you're horribly biased if you think MarxRipOff or any Smash Brothers original character would actually be playable in a game filled with NINTENDO ALL-STARS.
Third-Party characters are a special case yes, but they are video game ALL-STARS. Tabuu is nothing but a poorly developed final fantasy-esque designed final boss that is literally just a wire frame with wings and is entirely based off of bosses in kirby. You know, kinda like pretty much every other Boss in the Smash Brothers franchise. If anything, Master Hand is more likely than Tabuu since Master Hand is the CREATOR of the Smash Brothers universe and all.

But if you write off Muddy Mole for being "obscure" you miss the point of Retro characters in the first place. Is Takamaru not obscure either? I mean the only reason the west knows about him is because of how much the Smash community continues to stress that Takamaru is the goto Retro character for this Smash and the franchise's inclusion in Nintendo Land (even then, would that really lead anybody to actually want Takamaru in Smash Brothers if they met the franchise through Nintendo Land?).
Also I don't know where you found your source suggesting that Muddy Mole is "unpopular" because it only sounds like a biased argument to bring up.

Besides the only "unpopular" retro character is Urban Champion, so kindly reconsider your negative banter regarding Retros and really consider what a retro character is before you decide that you can write them out for not being Takamaru.

That was the point, and the Wii Fit Trainer is the face of the Wii Fit Franchise and is present in all installments.
Muddy Mole is the face of Mole Mania and is present in Mole Mania.
Tabuu is present in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, one of three (soon to be five) games. The face of Smash Brothers is really Mario, Kirby, or Master Hand. So if we use logic, the only viable character to represent Smash Brothers is MASTER HAND.

Finally, with the official confirmation that an adventure similar to SSE will not be happening, there is no reason for Tabuu to return as anything but a cameo boss or trophy (if he's lucky).[/collapse]

B Curse: Tharja fans her hands out in front of her, while holding her spell book. She has placed a trap. Coming into contact with it will cause it to explode, doing damage to the opponent. Crouching and using this will lay a trap on the ground, any other stance will have one in the air. She can lay up to three at a time, making a forth will cause them all to explode at once. But doing so means that the explosions may hurt yourself. (The explosions will only hurt yourself if you do it this way, otherwise they do not harm you)

B> Nosferatu: A flurry of shimmering lights appear in front of Tharja, that act as an extended “grab” in a way. It shows up in the exact same spot no matter what. The move has an extremely fast start up, but a relatively small window of opportunity to be used. If Nosferatu is executed correctly, the opponent will be held in mid air, while you slowly sap their life away. Does minimal damage, however heals yourself.

BV Deflect: This move does just as it says. A purple veil surrounds Tharja, and any projectiles or attacks are turned around. Works like Mario’s cape, except can be executed on something / someone behind her as well.

B^ Manakete Rising: Not canon, but I know she hold a manakete claw, and Sakurai isn’t canon anyways. She raises her Manakete’s claw into the air, and shadowy dragon wings appear on her back and lift her upwards into the air. Three quick flaps of her wings. The recovery is good, however she is completely vulnerable while using it.

The arbitrary roster caps get annoying. I am honestly optimistic, I think 2 Kid Icarus Newcomers can co-exist. I also like to believe that K. Rool and Dixie are viable together. A new Pokemon representative (aside from Mewtwo)? Sure, why not? I try and keep my perspective open. I mean, I think a second Animal Crossing rep is a real possibility. I never think it is a good idea to close off a franchise because "it is fine as it is," that is one of the most ridiculous reasons to speculate against another Mario or Zelda Newcomer. I have to admit that I feel as though Mario is just about done. I am not going to blatantly disregard the plausibility of one more Mario character though.

I doubt that Sakurai would go for Hades, Dragon Dude, Medusa, or Giygas over an iconic character like K. Rool.
Ridley is likely though.

K. Rool is the only character I can think of who can incorporate ending credits into their moveset.
