Seeing as in melee we had 25 characters and that number jumped to 35 for brawl (Not counting transformations/pokemon) I think it's reasonable to expect 8-10 newcomers if all the brawl veterans return. That would mean we've been shown nearly half of the newcomers already leaving 4-5 left to be revealed. Thoughts?

Well, if you say so. To me, the manakete thing really comes of as grasping at straws to make her stand out. And honestly it seems better suited for Julius or Lyon

Well, I could have done "Dark Rise" and had her have a generic magic rising action. But instead I tried to make it cool. Sakurai pulls **** like that all the time. Grasping t straws, sure. But they're cool straws.

Also my KKR moveset:
B Crown Toss: This is supposedly his most iconic move? Go figure he would rip it from Sailor Moon. Anyways, K. Rool Tosses his crow forward swiftly, acting as a boomerang.

>B K. Rool Crusher: K. Rool rushes forward and tackles the opponent. This move sort of acts like a further moving version of Wario’s shoulder ram move. It also ends with him diving to the ground, unlike Wario’s shoulder ram.

^B Kombo: Hailing from DK64, K. Rool ‘s up B is a chargable uppercut. The longer you charge, the stronger and higher he will lung upwards.

VB Belly Bounce: This move acts as a counter, as well as a reflector. K. Rool puffs his chest quickly. If attacked, he releases and his belly smacks the opponent. If a projectile is aimed at him, his stomach will bounce it back at the opponent.

I would be perfectly happy if the roster was Brawl + Mewtwo + 8 newcomers.

Some evil dude from Croc. Believe he was the main baddie. Don't remember his name, as I can barely remember the characters in the game itself. Man, that was a looong time ago.

Explain why Marth, Donkey Kong, and Zelda aren't generic? Also I can put a crown on an animal and give him pirate and scientist stuff. It'd still be generic.

Well, that's not too bad depending on who they pick. Even assuming that we get Mii and Pac-man alongside them, we can still get characters like King K. Rool in there.

Trying to pass K. Rool off as generic and supporting Tabuu at the same time is not a very good combo.
A popular character and an unpopular character. Whether you're right or not, Smashboards WILL gang up on you.
Just give it a rest @SaturnGamer64.
And sorry for adding to the argument, but King K. Rool is far from generic.

Yeah, I think Saturn's comparison went over everyone's heads. He is merely asserting that K. Rool (aesthetically) represents a generic concept. Thus, Tabuu (who was being called generic based on his physical appearance) is just as generic as K. Rool. However, as we all know, King K. Rool is one of the least typical characters around. So he is sarcastically making a direct comparison to the differing characters. It was really quite simple, he wasn't calling K. Rool generic.

Of course, he later clarified that the word "generic" alludes to something entirely subjective. Hence it cannot be used to refute Tabuu.
