Either GOs lost a single frame of startup or Kurogane is wrong... Shields come out on 8, down from supposedly 9. Remembered the training mode method. Can't find any SA either.

Looking a little closer right now.

Edit: Whelp, placebo'd it. Frame 8 attacks beat it, blocks frame 9.
GOs are unchanged?

Okay, yaknow what? I lied. Looked at the arrows again. Aerial lag seems decreased. As long as the first arrow goes away you can go rapid-fire in the air. I had a custom stage that consists of a wall and a cannon for testing the rate of fire on arrows. Dark Pit can go closer to the ground with 'em, and Pit can rain them down, one per jump, and still "autocancel" before he hits the ground. Either we somehow never noticed this or Pit just got something huge.

Did Dair always AutoCancel on SH so easily?

@ TMNTSSB4 TMNTSSB4 Meta Knight didn't get nerfed. Not sure where you heard that.

In fact we got buffed.
I was already corrected earlier in the 1.10 patch thread. Told me that it looks like a nerf, but it's really a buff.

I always saw dark pit as slightly worse, do you guys think it is because dark pit is more common?

It's because Dark Pit was lazily made and they didn't have a concrete plan for him going forward, just like in KIU. There is no reason to give him the Dr. Mario treatment where he's nothing but an inferior version of the original in every way. That was cool back in Melee--especially when Dr. Mario was better than Mario in Melee--but in Smash 4 that **** is terrible.

But unlike Dark Pit, Dr.Mario has been getting buffs every patch, giving hI'm something that's better than Mario in some shape or form(his buffed up smash he has now for and some more combos for example)

Dark pit ducks a few pixels lower than pit, the only area he is better than pit if im not mistaken

Making dark pit slower but a harder hitter would of made more sense, maybe give him some of pits specials from brawl. or have a throw that uses the dark pit staff, hell give him some of the custom moves as default surly thats something the could patch in right? At least in the case of Doc and Marth-with-boobs they play differently...

Good huge. Albit it's only for shorter ranges, it means Pit can shoot out a bunch of arrows quickly to break up campers.

Assuming we're not all idiots and just haven't seen this before. :estatic:

Do you think the Pit/DP situation will ever be like Melee Marth and Roy?
You mean... Worse? Doubt that. He just needs a bit more. Doc only got his new Usmash this patch, and nothing else. Pittwo could easily get something like a piercing effect on his arrows before alls said and done.

Oh yeah, I've had some time to check out the new stages. N64 Dreamland's blastzones are huge... Which is a good thing, since Pit lives longer then most on stages like this. For Dark Pit especially, he can Fspecial out lower and still recover.

Peach's castle is great for Pit. On the top platform we can KO much earlier off the top then other stages. Bottom platform Pit can capture people with his new rapid jab by either riding it forward into an enemy stopping himself from being pushed backwards by getting up against the wall. If you ever get the opponent offstage then you can threaten them away from the scrolling platform pretty easily and make it back yourself. It's also great for sharking no matter which way it's moving. And then Pit's Fthrow is great for early KOs down there, especially since he can stall it with pummels. Almost every position is a good position for Pit on this stage.

Pit is still the best character.

Whoa, I actually didn't know Pit's arrows has that fast of an IASA frame from the air. Sure enough, there's just as clear of a reduction on Pit's arrows from the air. When both fired synchronized arrows from a full hop, post-patch pit was able to double jump sooner after firing.
Just sharing your confirmation on the news. :bluejump: This is Pit's big buff, haha.

That is awesome, atleast it explains why I made a For Glory Toon Link(or whatever the tournament spammers would be called) with the arrows. Sakurai did good with Pit.

It's faster aswell. Pit even has his ko moves kill a tad bit early now.
GOs buff was placebo. Or somehow Kurogane hammer goofed and ended up writing the same frame it actually ended up on now.

I wish the made it so the Pit's arrows speed up and became more powerful the further they travel and that Dark Pit's Arrows where stronger close up. Just like in Uprising. LancerStaff is the most trusting person out of every Pit/Dark Pit player, who also does testing on them. He's been 99% right so far.

GO was buffed. He only made a mistake when he was tired, saying a fully charged Palutena Bow arrow kills at 115%...it was 225% or 215% instead.

No... GOs are the same. At first I thought default was faster then Amplifing, but that was incorrect. Then I looked at Kurogane Hammer and tested it's data, and it was correct.

Arrows were really a typo though.
