I mean 6A as an overhead mixup, not as an anti-air. Hazama's pressure's pretty good. offline once you get his frame traps down. He generally makes the opponent pretty scared of touching of button along with his 6A and even 6B shenanigans.I think I've heard that Hazama's 6A is not a very good anti-air, but I could be wrong. Also, Jayoku is unblockable online. Seriously. Do you remember one of those matches last night where you killed me with a Jayoku on the last hit, and it counterhit? I was trying to barrier. I was kinda salty.
I'm with you on both points. Platinum felt pretty straight forward, even with the variety of items.Platinum is starting to seem pretty one-dimensional to me. It might be time to decide on a secondary so I don't stop practicing out of boredom. (Currently I've stopped practicing because of other games. For some reason I like to have a basic understanding of just about every game.)
Oops, my bad. And yeah, Hazama's pressure is scary. :<I mean 6A as an overhead mixup, not as an anti-air. Hazama's pressure's pretty good. offline once you get his frame traps down. He generally makes the opponent pretty scared of touching of button along with his 6A and even 6B shenanigans.
And I remember that kill. I should've lost that match.
I'm willing to bet there is much more to Platinum than meets the eye. That being said, I'm taking a second look at Tao. I need to reed up on how she's changed.I'm with you on both points. Platinum felt pretty straight forward, even with the variety of items.
I'm still focusing on practicing BB though since there's nothing else new that's out (besides Arcana which I don't have).
I've tried Lambda before, and I used to play Nu in CT.I agree on Mu having a reach advantage for sure. Hm, maybe you could try Lambda, Lythium?

I really like Lambda, but I kinda wish they would stop messing with her playstyle. CS1 Lambda seemed almost rushdown, and CS2 Lambda seems to have much more of an emphasis on zoning than CS1. Plus, she's had so many changes to the properties of her moves over time that I would probably still be trying to do CT combos or something. I dunno, she's a cool character, and she's really interesting, but I don't think she's for me.
I'll stick with my Mu for now. I like her creativity. Plus, we already have, like, three Lambda players in Halifax, so I think she's well-represented.
But thanks for the suggestion! :3c
Yea i noticed some things were a lot easier like instant air dashes.I'm not sure if anybody else has noticed this but, to me at least, CS2 seems to be much more forgiving/less overly specific about move commands and stuff like that. Like, I find myself to be pulling off Distortions much more easily than in CS1 somehow.
It's not really that hard on PS3 on account of Playstation controllers always having a decent to good pad, but I can see 360 pad users having tons of trouble with it.IADing is derpy when playing on a pad like my poor *** does, but otherwise, it's easy.
I actually use one of those SFIV pads. But the floaty pad kind of makes it hard to register the change from diagonal to side as a 2nd input. It's not really that hard on PS3 on account of Playstation controllers always having a decent to good pad, but I can see 360 pad users having tons of trouble with it.
CT Rachel was autopilot.I just upgraded to CS2 and tried my Tao combos to find that NONE of them worked
I think I'm going to main Rachel. I started BB with CS1 so I didn't get to experience how good she was in CT apparently :/
How much damage does this do? Because it must prorate like ***. Throw plus 6C? Urgh.Forward/Backward Throw > 6D > D > 2D > D > Calamity Sword > D > D > 6D > D > jump > a.D > a.D > a.2D > a.D > double jump > a.D > a.D > a.2D > a.D > Crescent Saber.
No, she wasn't. She was just really good.CT Rachel was autopilot.
They have updated the combos for CS2. If you go have a look at challenge mode, there are all new combos there.Did mission mode (or whatever it was called in this game) change with the update? Or will all of the combos in it still work?
There are...But it's taught me some horrible news...How much damage does this do? Because it must prorate like ***. Throw plus 6C? Urgh.

You can still combo into it after Jayoku, an air throw, a back throw into a corner, and also a CH off of 5C or 3C.There are...But it's taught me some horrible news...
NOTHING COMBOS INTO 214D C WITH HAZAMA
NOOOOOTHING
EDIT:
Ok, there are one or two ways to go into, but still, I loved throw shenanigans...
From the looks of it, it's pretty good. I mean, you can go from Big Bang Smash to her other DD if you have enough heat.Is Big Bang Smash even slightly useful anymore?
