I get the impression that CS's netcode is a little bit worse than CT's, but it certainly isn't Brawl-quality netcode.

That's how I feel about it. The waiting times I endure while online is atrocious.

The lag in CS is so bad that I've pretty much stopped playing ranked matches. At least when I play with you guys I don't rage so hard about lag

I hope they do fix the netcode.

Do you and Raziek have 360 or PS3? If PS3, think we could swap PSNs or something? I would like to be able to play some people from here.

Also, after watching countless blazblue videos on youtube, I've decided to main 1 of these 3 chars: Taokaka, Hazama, Ragna. I hear Ragna is easy? And Jam, do you happen to know the tier list off the top of your head?

A new CS tier list showed up on Dustloop the other day. Apparently it was compiled by several top Japanese players. Take it as you will:

S: Bang, Litchi
A+: Hazama, Hakumen
A: Carl, Arakune, Ragna, Taokaka
B+: Jin
B: Lambda
C+: Noel
C: Tager, Tsubaki, Rachel

Thoughts?

Use Tao. You'll be one of those that plays because you love the character over them being high tier.

It's what I do for Ragna.

Also if that tier list is true, then ****. I guess Bang's 5A really is god. LOL Oh well. They still have to consider Mu, Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Platinum. Ragna's still good anyway.

I think Slayer dropped because of having bad okizeme and mixup options. And Millia's probably third due to having great mixups and okis (both which Slayer doesn't have).

I feel like Ragna should stay up in A+ tier. He builds meter fast, and because of that, he can make lots of unsafe options safe with loads of heat going towards Rapid Cancelling. I don't know anything about Hazama, but I felt he should've been placed in A tier. I also think that Tager and Noel should have their placings switched.

Edit: I also think Tsubaki and Rachel should be in D tier or something. Having them in the same tier as Tager seems questionable to me.

Minato, I have to agree with you there. Tager is not awesome, but he's definitely better than Rachel and Tsubaki. And Noel, but that's my personal opinion.

Here's the difference though.

You're not using Bang or Litchi. You're still awesome for using Tao. LOL

Also, what are you trying to prove anyway by always going for mid/low tier characters? A sense of pride in beating higher-ups? What if one of those higher-ups, like Taokaka, is one of your favorites?

Doesn't make sense to me to deny yourself when the character is right there. Especially if you have fun with her regardless.

I miss Cat Spirit 2 from CT.

Well crap, I didn't know there was a BlazBlue thread (Or that there were other Guilty Gear players either. Millia mains represent). I have to admit that, while it could just be a PS3 thing, a lot of stuff in CS feels just...'different' or much much more directly input sensitive in that you HAVE TO get the input exactly right and can't "have a down input that's semi-leaning to down-back" input for things to work. Also, I've noticed that as a Noel main (or....I dunno maybe should just secondary her now since the tier stuff makes me sad), a lot of her combos and loops seem much harder than in CT. Ragna seems a bit better with the Belial added in, and Hazama seems potentially good from what I've tried, but I can never seem to get the "hit them with a D when they're in the air and you're on the ground so it launches you up to combo them up there" stuff down.

What happened to Ragna? He seems a little too low to me now. He's pretty much back to where he was in CT.

Hazama is interesting too, I wonder what moved him so high up.

I play whatever characters catch my eyes. Usually I get used to their playstyle pretty quickly, or (most of the time) their playstyle already resonates with mine, like they were made for me, sort of.

If my character was at the bottom, idgaf. If my character was at the top, idgaf.

Just my preferences, since people like posting that kind of stuff, no biggie.

Hopefully I can play CS this weekend... Hopefully... I rarely get to practice as I am right now.

God... I can't choose between Hazama and Taokaka. Hazama is just so ****** and has the moves of Micheal Jackson, except he doesn't molest children. But then Taokaka is a cat, and she's like "Reow!@" and will scratch the **** out of you. (also taunt loop)
