I honestly thought we’d never see DC skins again after the Disney shareholding. Did they have to put DC skins on hold or something for a whole year?

No idea, Catwoman and Flash recently got Lego styles so I assume it had something to do with Lego.

I'm like 90% sure it was WB, I remember reading something, that I cannot source so I could be remembering it wrong, but Warner was stepping away from outside collabs because of Multiversus and Mortal Kombat. but once those lost money they went back.

I don't think it was lego because there is already minifigures for most if not all DC characters and they added back Rick & Morty, which was also withheld for a while and those don't have lego styles.

Yeah I think it’s WB. Considering they use to have collabs on battle passes which is different from the shop, I’m thinking it was WB that pulled away. They had Gotham as a POI and Batman weapons back in the day. So I’m guessing the reason the skins didn’t come back prior was WB didn’t resign the contract.

My guess is since they are bringing back old battle pass cosmetics, they reached back out to WB; and WB had changed their mind and decided to work with Epic again.

Right now, Epic has stated only Battle pass cosmetics from Chapter 5 Season 4 onward (which was the second Marvel season) can return. However, that doesn't mean I think the others won't return. There's demand (mostly around the collab characters (they locked one of cinemas most iconic villains behind a Battle Pass and a ton of iconic superheroes behind them too)) plus Epic has used surveys that conveyed the idea of bringing stuff from passes back after the aforementioned announcement. So, I think it will happen, but not until Epic figures out the best way to please everyone.

And now for those wondering what collab characters are Battle Pass locked, here are all of them plus the company they'd need to renegotiate with (asterisk means an alternative version of this character has been sold in the item shop):

Did I forget to mention they forced a daycare to remove images of their characters off of their walls? Or the fact they kept Sarah Silverman as the voice of Vanellope Von Schweetz despite having made similar tweets to Gunn? Ones that were more recent? They probably kept her because she's a woman and would have been called sexist. And no being a voice actress and director, two different work positions should not be an excuse.

This is what TV Tropes calls Early Installment Weirdness.

I guess the creators of the original one or two games just envisioned Hyrule as being more like a story set on regular Earth and Hyrule as just this random fictional kingdom. So a few real life religious elements were more common in the NES games.

I always though the "centerpoint" was having an attack button and kill enemies, while having a cartoony art direction.

Popping in to ask: which version of Sonadow Generations would you recommend? I was thinking of getting the Switch version but I'm getting mixed messages on how it plays, so I'd like to hear from someone with more familiarity with it before deciding.

Iirc Switch is the only one without a performance mode but PC has Denuvo on it because Sega still thinks that works despite how it objectively hurts PC games. The version I play on is ps5 and it's never even crashed or anything
