I do like it though. It doesn't build off of the base Absol design too much but I really love Absol so I'm still happy with it.
From a game design standpoint it is neat how they made it a mixed attacker so it can use its wide special movepool, made it really satisfying to use this mega in my playthrough of Alpha Sapphire. It definitely is a bit on the weaker side for a mega though.

To this day I still wonder if Kang is ever getting a pre-evo based off the baby.
It makes no sense that it's born a grown adult with a kid, unless they wanna tell me that the joey is physically a part of the adult.

Iirc the beta leak for Gen 1 showed the Baby was a pre-evo of Cubone so
Yeah it's scrapped content but it feels like that was the original intention.
