Sky High Sundae or whatever it's called is a returning track and we saw a 25M themed track, I think we'll see more stuff like thatWhich means we probably won’t have some if the more interesting or out there courses. Like how are you gonna fit Waluigi Pinball or Squeaky Clean Sprint into an open world map?
Because the world is a great big beautiful place full of wonder and surprises and curiosity and exploring is fun. And video games allow me to have that same feeling but in fantasy worlds with robots and dragons and stuff. But like… that’s not why I play Mario Kart. I play to go fast and win races.
And seriously why do people have such a hard on for exploration? It’s not that fun or interesting.
Idk I’m still hoping there’s at least a mode where it just warps you from track to track like the old games.
Isn't it supposed to have only one ending?I wonder 'how' Snowgrave will impact the game since, ya know, Deltarune has save files.
Like, how many endings will this game have compared to Undertale....? If you don't Snowgrave in Chapter 2 but do in Chapter 3, how will the story change, etc....
I hope so but I doubt it. This is this games “Nintendo Gimmick” and you don’t turn off the “Nintendo Gimmick”. You suffer through it as it brings down the experience and then 20 years later video essays get written about how shaking the controller was fun actually. You know there’s probably gonna be other modes that’ll allow you to play track by track like previous games and you probably won’t need to play the off track modes if you don’t want, right?

But Shroob, considerScalpers when Path of Radiance is easily accessible and doesn't require a blood sacrifice of the buyer's firstborn

The box,
People would sacrifice two children for that box and that disc.
The collector's market is insane. I spent a neat couple of months collecting PS3 physicals so I got into it and it's WILD.
Even as a Wii Motion Controls Hater like myself(most of the good games on the system functioned just fine without them), DS didn't really have a gimmick. Wii's literal gimmick was optional, as was MK7's. Double Dash was peak. So it's a wait and see.I hope so but I doubt it. I mean sure I love experiencing places in the world but I plan my trips into it so I know where to go and what to do when. Surprises have the potential to be fun but more often then not they’re chaotic distractions that prevent you from having the fun you wanted to have and take away your human rights (still not over 2016).Because the world is a great big beautiful place full of wonder and surprises and curiosity and exploring is fun. I love being able to immerse myself in a new world, especially a world from a series I love, and believe that I am a person living in this world and experiencing this fantastic journey.
Things didn’t need to be shaken up! God I had a whole list of things I was hoping to see in a new Mario Kart and none of this was on it.I think the course to course style is neat, and a good way to shake things up, we'll have to see if they do a more general style of course changes. I wouldn't be too surprised if it stuck around.

Honestly this is just insane to me because every game you claim to like and are upset about leaving you behind always had secrets and goodies you can't find just by going from point A to point B. Sonic pre-Frontiers, Rare DKC, pre Gen IX Pokemon, Banjo goddamn Kazooie, FFVIIR, the list goes on endlesslyI mean sure I love experiencing places in the world but I plan my trips into it so I know where to go and what to do when. And like…. I get the immersion thing but I have like… no desire to roll play that I live in a game world and run around exploring. I just wanna do the stuff the game developers wanted me to do. I have curiosity but not in the digital world. My curiosity is in like… reading books and learning things. I don’t wanna look under a random rock to see what’s there. Because the odds are it’s just dirt or bugs. So like… why bother?
Idk. It’s just a fundamental disconnect in how I have fun vs I guess how lots of people do have fun and I hate how often times I feel like I’m being told I have to sacrifice my linear guided challenge based experience and make do with a less guided open one that I can kind of play linearly if I plan or follow a walkthrough just do some other schmo can go run around in the tree line looking for stuff that isn’t actually there.
Subspace EmissaryCan’t wait for the next smash where you have to parkour from stage to stage after the match ends and also donkey Kong looks like an idiot.
Or maybe this was just a natural direction to take the series which I’ve noticed has been a well received direction and you have the unpopular opinion again, in which there’s nothing wrong with that itself but you don’t have to express it in such an abrasive wayI hope so but I doubt it. In reality it's the Burnout Paradise complete cultural victoryThe open world also isn't even a "Nintendo Gimmick" it's what a bunch of other racing games have done over the past decade. It's just Nintendo's take on that stuff.
But what about Burnout Revenge? In reality it's the Burnout Paradise complete cultural victory
The pipe that takes you to Squeaky Clean Sprint is just a normal plumbing pipe that has somehow been stuffed with a bunch of Mini MushroomsI feel like the wackier Mario Kart tracks won't be that hard to implement, considering one of the staples of the whole franchise is pipes that teleport you.
My point is that each title likely introduced new ****. Gyro and Motion controls were optional. For all we know there's likely a mode or two that allows you to just play courses one at a time.Things didn’t need to be shaken up! God I had a whole list of things I was hoping to see in a new Mario Kart and none of this was on it.

That too.In reality it's the Burnout Paradise complete cultural victory
Okay but like, it’s called a platform fighter for a reason and since Ultimate was severely lacking in platformer stuff I think it’d be nice to have more platforming stuff integrated into the next entry. Can’t wait for the next smash where you have to parkour from stage to stage after the match ends
He should at least get the Coconut Gun.Okay but like, it’s called a platform fighter for a reason and since Ultimate was severely lacking in platformer stuff I think it’d be nice to have more platforming stuff integrated into the next entry.
Also DK has to have his redesign in order to have a revamped moveset that feels closer to his game iteration rather than the generic gorilla moveset we currently have, so be it
Piranha Plant Switch 2 Camera

Legitimately I do think DK could take some notes from Kragg in RoA, especially if we pay homage to his block moves using barrelsHe should at least get the Coconut Gun.
But will it still fire in spurts?
I feel bad that you have this hyper-fixation on this series. I know you like it a lot but, man, it's gotta suck being this obsessed about something. The Project X Zone IP should remain in dormancy
I had like a spin-off action game in mind with a similar premise except the heroes would be in trouble and you’d be playing as the secondary characters like Luigi, Zelda, Meta Knight, etc. to rescue themOk, hear me out; we do get a Smash game where we parkour to different stages like Snake mentioned. Cause this time the universes collided so now things are wack, and the Smash cast has to restore it. So we traverse mashed up worlds, beating the universes respective enemies and bosses, and prevent the universes from imploding thanks to the works of the various villians in the cast. Give it a story as well.
And call it Subspace 2.
