Is anyone going to see A Minecraft Movie this week?
I'm not exactly hyped for it, but it's a film based on a game I've played for years and tons of fond memories playing along with my friends, so I'm definitely still curious about it. If I actually decide to watch it, it's probably not gonna be until it's on streaming platforms.

I mulled over seeing it, but I dunno if I actually want to buy a ticket and head out to the theater for a movie that doesn’t look the best.
If I just wait until it hits streaming, my ironic enjoyment won’t be hampered by the pain in my wallet.
My friend offered me to go, normally I'd join just for an excuse to hang out but I turned her down this time.
Got work that day and I'm not really interested in the movie at all

A family member asked my younger sibling if they wanted to go see the Minecraft movie, and basically said "Why would you ask that, what's wrong with you?"
Back to Mario Kart, all those Jabroni characters they added is pretty crazy. It's actually pretty cool. But it does make me hope for some more DK characters and finally E.Gadd in a main Mario Kart. I know Dixie and Diddy were in Tour, and I feel like they are important enough to throw in MK World too.
That said, Hammer Bro and Chargin' Chuck are respectable choices even without the roster having like 50 more characters than I expected.

There is zero reason for N64 NSO button mapping being exclusive to Switch 2.

I don't know how if the movie how the movie will be able to do justice to Mangle in terms of scare factor, but I've seen a ton of one-shot analog horror videos about FNaF and it's animatronics.
The ones that star Mangle are consistently the most unsettling and horrifying.

I don't go to cinemas anyway, but man, I'm seeing Minecraft Movie marketing everywhere here. Just recently McDonalds started a Minecraft Movie Happy Meal line. They really want this movie to be BIG.
It is gonna be big.

I'm might go to a big comic convention in Atlanta later this year but it may depend on how I am after buying Switch 2.

I’m taking the kids (9yo and 13yo). Both are Minecraft lovers. I’ve shown them the trailers and they say everything but the human characters look accurate to the game. Even I see some of it because I’ve played with them over the years.
Not peak for me (because the concept of a Superman is so boring) but still looks good. Will definitely see it launch day.

No. He’s boring to me. The “Superman problem” has always bothered me in CBMs.
Prime 4 at 60fps in 4k is gonna look fantastic irl. I can’t wait. It’s the one game I want out of everything shown.

Guardians 3 and D&W were the last MCU films I had interest in. Far as I'm concerned their stories are over.
More excited for Invincible S4, Beyond the Spider-Verse and The Batman 2.

Btw, A Minecraft Movie is at 101% on Rotten Tomatoes.
