If I have a TV like that, I can imagine playing darkstalkers 2 and sonic dimensions in amazing quality and fashion.

And when SSB4 comes out, I'll just make it competitive asap.

Smexy TV.

Anyways, if they were to release DC games, I want Jet Grind Radio back! That game was purely amazing.

"Hello, Allison, I wanna hold your hand
I haven't been the same man
Since I saw you comin' in
Let's have a toast to the girl in aisle ten"

Gotta love Aisle Ten.

You also gotta love the soundtracks from both games.

Nintendo, how awkward can you get with the online thing? Judging by the fact Nintendo created a new tab for Demos, I think these demos are going to stay.

Anyways, let's hope that this is one step closer to a better online service for Wii U, and for the 3DS.

Yeah, PSN and XBL made a joke out of Nintendo. I don't know if it's confirmed, but I'm hoping that Ninty makes Achievements. Steam, Trophies, Achievements, come on...

Seriouslly. Nintendo really needs to up their online game. If they can make something better than PSN at least, then they'll do well. If not, they're screwed, since multiplayer gaming is huge nowadays.

I don't think Nintendo will ever take online gaming seriously. Not with their past history and feeble attempts.

Nintendo announced a long time ago they're having another company structure their online system for them for the WiiU.

I have hopes.

Mario Kart Wii wasn't all that bad when playing online except for the occasional lag.

Nintendo has said that online would be a major part of the Wii U so its probably going to be pretty good.

God, I really hope the opening day for the Wii U doesn't have a library consisting of games like "Chase Mii" or w/e it's called.

I don't really know if guys already know the release date for the console but it says it's around june and december of 2012.

@bored: They have already have a Wii sports game along the wii. Why would you think they wouldn't do the same with the Wii-U? Infact, that just gives a little bit of fun in the meantime before buying a good game.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. Wait till June when it's E3 2012.

Unless there is a strong online functionality with those kinda games, I have 0 interest in playing these games again. It's just a cheap gimmick that is not worth 50-60 bucks.

Well, I did say that "it just gives a little bit of fun in the meantime" as a purpose.

Hell, I wouldn't play it either. But the curiosity just rises. So you might just end up playing it. Maybe for a minute or two, then that's it. ^.^

The whole point of Wii Sports was just to show you what the Wii was capable of.

Things suck as "Chase Mii" are also made for that purpose. To be honest, I highly doubt that we'll be getting that mini-game, but it is possible.

What worries me are rumors of the 720 and PS4. What will those consoles be capable of? Will they change the way games are played even more so than the Wii U, and will they be significantly more powerful than the Wii U, just like how 360 and PS3 was more powerful than the Wii?

Let's face it. Wii U is not going to sell well if Microsoft and Sony make it seem like they're upcoming consoles are going to be worth it.

Which is why I sometimes despise gaming nowadays. People have been fooled into thinking that graphics make a game, and that a game has to be accessible to 5 year olds, despite having an M rating on the packaging. Now I'm just ranting, so I'll stop.

Anyways, cannot wait for Wii U, Nintendo changed gaming once again.

Even though the 360 and the PS3 do focus on graphics a lot, that doesn't mean that it is the only thing they focus on, both of those systems have good quality games. Plus it also helped that the 360 and PS3 had a lot of third party support. But this time around, the Wii U is also getting third party support so I think the Wii U will do pretty well. I'm also not sure what you mean by the game being accessible to 5 year olds despite having an M rating. Can't really blame any company in particular for that, its the parents fault that buy the game for their kids.

It didn't, but many "hardcore" gamers were turned off by it due to how much the Wii appealed to the casual audience, while neglecting the true gamers. This goes back to having no third party support. When you're sitting around, waiting for an official Nintendo game to come out, then you're doing anyone much favors while your competitors are coming out with various types of games on a monthly basis.

For now, Nintendo is saying they want to focus on third party support, but I'm curious what will happen once Sony and MS release or at least tease about their consoles. At the end of the day, sales will matter and it might just come down to if the PS and MS audience are willing to go over to what the Wii U is presenting. Things like the Kinect have been successful...to the casual audience.
