So my GF is kicking me out for no reason, and we are splitting up, also apparently for no reason. My tournament is ruined and my parents won't let me move back in with them. So... anyone need a roommate? If I have to live with someone I don't know then I would like it if they were a smasher lolz.
She is giving me until sunday, so that gives me today tommorow and a portion of saturday to find somewhere to live, for some reason she thinks a week would be to awkward for her. I really don't understand why she has to be such a ***** about it, I swear to god any reasonable person would give someone at least a week or two to find a place to live.

We got the appartment together 3 years ago, I was removed from the lease during a fight about 8 months ago, I moved back in 3 months later and I have been there since, now she wants to break up for no reason and she is kicking me out with zero notice and zero time to find a new place.
I wouldnt be too bothered by it if I had some notice.

Ah. I see. Like I said, that's when I would have gotten worried. If it weren't for that particular extenuating legal circumstance, she'd have had no more right to kick you out than vice versa, it sounds like, so perhaps requesting that you do that was done with this sort of thing in mind.
SF:E Autumn '07
Let's start hearing some opinions on when the next SF:E should be. October? November? It's been my experience that December is not a very good time for events because everyone is doing stuff already for holidays, the weather isn't very good, and additionally this year everyone will be too busy playing Brawl.
Since I doubt Alaska and Idaho will make it again, we can probably fit everyone in my apartment - if there's more than about a dozen people, I'll just set up TVs in my bedroom. This will likely be a one day event, and I could easily set up Singles to be held at Big City Gamin'.

I say October because we should have it on Halloween I'm gonna dress up as sheik and were tight spandex to show off my bod.
Using "worried" is a bit harsh, I'm simply discussing this, as are you. And, yes, I'd rather have it biased because people would vote me up because they generally all like me. However, that conflicts with my standings on what is fair. Obviously if I sandbag my PR matches it will reflect in my standing. Saying my reasons are weird isn't helping this discussion, it just makes the PR matches more likely to happen, which you probably don't want. So, present better reasons for a Panel of voters other than "other people are doing it." Because other people can do things badly. And do.
PR matches would be akin to tournament matches. If you get 1st in all your matches, it will reflect in the PR matches. In addition, we'll have tournament data as well as PR matches to compare. We could figure out if anyone chokes during tournaments or something like that and would be able to advize in that area.
October.
November gets to be the cold, no travel time and holidays start.
December is holidays and Brawl.
September is probably too early to plan anything big.
Singles at Big City Gamin' would probably be good to get local scrubs/noobs and take their money, lolz. It seemed to work alright last time we did something like that.

Okay guys that's the PR, no changes at all, since it will be purely based off of ranking matches and not actual tournament placement.

Although outdated (in just a couple months) the ranking tournament shows quite well a generalized skill level of everyone - Aftermath excluded since he technically forfeited half his matches.
I can easily see Cmin moving up since then and, from what I hear from N-Oregon, Venus Gospel too. We can stick James in there somewhere... or at least someone should confirm that he's gone AWOL.

I like why the only reason Aftermath is cause I beat him first round

I think its gonna be hard to agree to a power ranking since some players are very close in skill in this state and having one would create a controversy especially if they are really competitive and care a lot about their ranking.
Its quite hard to fathom how the PR is gonna line up in my opinion. I most likely won't make a good panelist because its hard for me to decide if one is sandbagging or not. I also don't know if Power ranking rates a players skill overall, or just how well they do in tournaments, because from what i've seen, alot of people try their best in friendlies and do way way good, but then another might be sandbagging and what not, so its really hard to decide who goes where and such.
I guess you can just do it tournaments alone, but imo i dont like the idea of placing you in a rank based on a couple of matches that put you under alot of pressure. I'm not saying that pressure isn't part of the game, i know your mind goes nuts in a real tournament match, but if Power Ranking is suppose to rank how good you are just on pure skill level, then its hard to decide.
