This leads to a flashback scene of her and Hopediah talking to Mrs. Croaker outside the fwagon shortly after Hop Pop purchased it, Polly narrates "Well, on our way back, Mrs. Croaker asked if we could pick her up a new romance novel while we were in the city." Shortly afterwards, more residents of Wartwood are shown approaching them and requesting that they try and pick up items for them from either Newtopia or on the road to it, Hop Pop then narrates "Before we knew it, everybody was asking for stuff. So we made a wish list. We hid the list in a special place so we wouldn't forget." As the flashback ends, he immediately blunts adds "And then we forgot it." Anne can only respond with an appalled and dumbfounded "What?!"-

(...They forgot an entire list of items several people asked them to get?! Okay, forget where they stored the list, how the heck do two people forget something that important so easily?!)
