I'm honestly surprised that Rambi hasn't been made into an assist trophy yet. Donkey Kong doesn't have a single AT, and Rambi seems like he'd be a perfect fit for the concept.

Honestly though, does he have an official outfit or something? Would we get the BDSM half fur jacket look in Smash or would it be a much more boring outfit instead? Looking through the wiki his design is really inconsistent just like you lot said.

That's part of the problem, really. His look changes incredibly often.

Though if he got into Smash I think he'd take a lot of inspiration from his NES look, since that's what made him famous on Nintendo systems.

That makes sense. Personally, I think some of the characters would be good assist trophies.

I recently played through Tekken 7's story mode, and now Heihachi is my most wanted 3rd party newcomer.

I know he was considered for Smash before, so now I can only hope that Sakurai ends up loving Heihachi's characterization in Tekken 7 so much that it helps inspire him to finally include Heihachi into Smash.

I'm still holding out for Rhythm Girl as a fighter instead of the Chorus Kids but the kids seem to be the more likely choice.
I'm all for it, as a Rhythm rep could bring a rhythm gimmick that only Marth's side B and DKs Final Smash use so far.

I recently played through Tekken 7's story mode, and now Heihachi is my most wanted 3rd party newcomer.

I know he was considered for Smash before, so now I can only hope that Sakurai ends up loving Heihachi's characterization in Tekken 7 so much that it helps inspire him to finally include Heihachi into Smash.

I need to ask, what would Heihachi do that would set him apart from the rest of the characters on the roster? I'm having trouble separating what he can do with what Ryu already does (combo heavy brawler movesets and all)

They at the least need a stage - Brawl's Warioware style. It would be so much fun, and could feature a large cast of characters.

A character rep would be nice too, but I think a stage and AT could represent the series well enough.

Raptor Boost sticks to the Falcon theme because Falcons are Birds of Prey and Raptor is another word for that.



I mean they can always change his flames so they're blue like they changed Ike's flames though I don't see that happening because they'd have done that when they did the change for Ike.

In those regards Falcon is more naming his moves after himself.

Besides, if we're really adding this nonsense stipulation that F-Zero racers need to have moves themed on their ships then stingrays are aquatic creatures, so there you have it. Water moves for Goroh.

Tekken isn't anything like Street Fighter gameplay wise.

As for a unique playstyle, look into Tekken's mechanics. Kick the opponent while they're down. Slam them into a wall. Work with juggle combos (which Ryu really doesn't do).

Moreover, I doubt Heihachi would have anything similar to Ryu's control scheme.

He would probably play similarly to how he does in PlayStation All-Stars.

Falcon is intentionally based upon Japanese Superheroes. The fact his character model is heavily similar to the ones used in Dragon King(the first version of SSB64) is part of why his moveset is the way it is. His over the top design like calling out his attacks is something akin to Kamen Rider(Toku stuff, which are the equivalent of Japanese superheroes, much like our comic book ones).

Goroh doesn't have the fitting personality, nor would he make sense to act similar to Falcon. Nor does anything suggest he would use Water. Never mind that the whole Falcon thing isn't really so much based upon his vehicle as his name itself(Captain Douglay Jay Falcon) and a happy coincidence of his moveset origin. You're looking too much at the vehicle alone. The vehicle already does something for Falcon, which represents that he's very fast. That's kind of it.

I would like some WarioWare characters for the next Smash (or a port of the current one). Characters that are currently assist trophies (Ashley, Kat and Ana) would make great additions. Personally though I think characters like Young Cricket and Mona (who could have alt costumes from the games and maybe even a colour alt for that girl in the green (I forgot her name) from WarioWare Touched) would work as well.

Personally one of my biggest Smash curiosities was what Sakurai intended for the moveset of the Chorus Kids (Gematsu blah blah blah). I've only played one RH game, so I'm no expert, but they were always a character I was challenged to envision a working playstyle for. And I like to think I'm generally pretty decent at cultivating moveset potential.

But given how unique they are as characters, I'd personally much rather see them in Smash over someone like Rhythm Girl, the Wrestler, or Karate Joe. Also they're pretty adorable.

I do believe we will see them, or at least Marshall in Smash down the road. But I guess time will tell.

I feel that. I remember seeing the Gematsu leak, and was like "meh", once we got past that and into DLC I realized it could/does get much worse for people like me lol. The gif does make them look neat though, I'd be happy to see them now

Said that a couple of pages back even. Was one of the reasons am not bothered the slightest for a port of Smash 4.

Switch needs something extraordinary to make me a costumer again. Smash, a new Donkey Kong, other stuff of interesst... Wii U didn't quite do it for me. Never played DKC Tropical Freeze either for example (my only regret).

Used to play Smash 4 at a friends place a lot, haven't played it for over a year now easily.

I can see that. Tbh I wish I didn't put as much time/money into games, but with my current job schedule I don't really have time for anything else, so **** it, Overwatch and Smash 4 all day.

I almost gave up gaming altogether after the Wii, I wasn't really happy with anything on that console or the others, and didn't think Wii U/PS4/X1 looked that much better. Ended up buying the Wii U anyway primarily for Smash, and was pleasantly surprised with the rest of the games when Nintendo was actually supporting it, problem is that didn't last long.

Either way it's a good way to save money.
