Fire Emblem's been hitting it big since Awakening but how does the fancy Switch title fare? Well, I personally like it! Fire Emblem games generally stand out on their own in some way or form and for 3H, it's the seemingly limitless ways of customizing your army as Byleth's tutoring and the school setting allows you to pretty much look at any character or class and go "Hmmm I wanna do that" which is really cool as if you feel some role is missing like say, no knights or mounted units, you can adjust that constantly. However, the reason people constantly talk about this gane over half a decade later isn't because of the gameplay, it's the cast! The three house leaders all have something going for them but also all have some flaws, with their perspectives being seen on their routes which I really appreciate as all 3 do have at least some interesting writing which makes me at least understand why one would prefer one over the other. The minor cast though? Damn, if this isn't an excellent cast of characters, almost all of them are quite fleshed out and feel more real than most FE characters, there feels like genuine love and care put in pretty much everyone. The world building is also pretty cool as Fodlan feels very believable and shockingly, the animals in the school have more effort into them than major stuff like the name of Fates' continent or stuff like Chrom's asshole dad. There's also the music, which was the first time FE's dynamic music really hit for me, I wholeheartedly recommend this game to old fans or newcomers alike and can only hope the rumoured FE4 remake is more in line with this than say, Engage. I like that game too though lol. Also Edelgard was right

Let me rant about some Pokemon stuff

They have this line of Pokemon figures called Trainers Figures, they are a decent price (65 USD) and they are figures of a trainer with their signature pokemon, and they do some really cool and obscure characters that would have never gotten a figure in any other circumstance

problem is that most of them are ugly as sin

Maybe it's just me but I think Ghetsis looks fine, I don't see too much wrong with him outside of maybe the mouth.

I do agree most of the others look off, I honestly would like that Iris figure if it wasn't for the face looking too doll-like.

Showrunner Matt Owens has left Netflix One Piece.

It seems like he left for mental health reasons which is completely understandable as I cannot imagine working on something as huge as One Piece is an easy task and I wish him the best.

That being said it does make me worry about future seasons as he was handpicked by Oda and as a big fan of the manga probably had a big impact on it turning out as good as it did - I'm obviously not saying he should prioritize the show over his mental health, my worries are separate from that and the quality of the show isn't as important as Owens' mental health

Day 22: Digimon Cyber Sleuth

We constantly talk about Pokemon so what about Digimon? I only played Cyber Sleuth but the version on Switch comes with Hacker's Memory too which is pretty nice! Cyber Sleuth isn't really SUPER good but for what it is, a basic adventure, is pretty damn fun! The city and digital world have their charms, especially as a nerd who's bought stuff from Mandarake and going OH IS THAT A MANDARAKE STORE, and there's lots of cyber sleuthing in sidequests, my favourite being one where a Lilymon fell in love with a human dude and is messing with his phone so he can't contact or as much as look at women on his device, so you need to smack her to cut that **** out, to which she'll feel a level of closeness on him, he doesn't mind though, but he's into men, end of sidequest. The Digimon themselves are really cool and trying to explore the digivolution charts is really fun, seeing which lines diverge into what fills me with odd glee. Also, you know how when your party is maxed out in Pokemon, they go to the box? Imagine if the box was also a daycare and you get the Digifarm! Your digimon will grow stronger in real time, by experience and even by stats depending on what's in the farm as it's also a pet sim. However, fun fact about the Switch version! Being on sleep mode does not disable the real time element, so as long as the game is booted up, you can do things like go to work while it's in sleep mode to just level up and use this to fill up more Digivolutions in the chart by reaching level requirements. Also, I remember playing the multiplayer against someone who is unfortunately no longer my friend and I used the game's fun handlings on the battle system to absolutely **** him up, call me a coward for wanting some time to prep a team and prepare to get hit with the nastiest sweat in the Netherlands, thank you Knightmon and MarineAngemon! Also btw don't bother learning debuffs in the main game, bosses resist or are flatout immune to those, oops

Mega Absol Raid Day in Go, so the rates are 1/10 I believe. Got a Shiny on my first try. ✨

Now if only I can get a Mega Absol with good IVs... With it's Event Move, it's now the best Dark Type attacker in the game.
