We have gotten a few snippets (mostly stages and one or two cut variants), but I think once the game shutsdown that's when the beans get spilled.

I REALLY REALLY hope Switch 2 is finally the system where Nintendo lets NST shine.

Ever since Project HAMMER failed they’ve been relegated to ports and Development Co-operation. They finally got a break with F-Zero 99 and the Mario Vs. Donkey Kong Remake but for a development studio that’s so talented, if their help with Bowser’s Fury, the Treasure Tracker levels they did and of course Prime Hunters are any indication, being relegated to just those would be a damn shame.

Retro is back with Prime 4, Next Level is pumping out games consistently and beautifully, and Shiver is definitely a big part of the Switch 2’s master plan. Throw NST a home Nintendo, please.

Pie in the sky is a brand new F-Zero being used as a showcase for Switch 2's visuals and processing power.

As for something that's actually fairly likely to happen?
New 3D Mario.

I think it's been long enough, and the 40th anniversary is coming up this September.
Not that they've ever really cared about such things, but it really feels like things are lining up this time.

This would be kind of Surprising, but if the switch 2 direct is all switch 2 and as big as they say then this might make sense.

On one hand, a one last Switch 1 hoorah before the S2 Direct makes sense

Finally got Arceus themselves and just completed the Pokédex for PLA. This was such a fun journey and I’m homing ZA will be just as fun. Here’s my main team as well as the Shinies I’ve acquired pre-charm.

I REALLY hope the Switch 2 gets a Sonic Lost World port.

It's one of the few Wii U entries that didn't make it over to the first Switch. Maybe that's because it was available on Steam, but it'd be great to have access to this wonderful game on a Nintendo console again.

Potentially this COULD happen in the future with some extra content like with the Sonic Generations re-release. Please Sega!

Might depend on NDAs. Though like stated eariler, there's some stuff shown off. I think Mad Jack from Samurai Jack was a costume or something? Only thing I saw.

The Trails on the Sky First Chapter remake seems to come out on September 25th according to rpeorder listings, both on Switch and a PS5 version

He’s in the game’s current build I think actually.

He’s currently obtainable in the Rogue Rift. Voice-lines are bugged (Mad Jack is supposed to have unique VO by Phil LaMarr but it instead plays regular Jack lines. The subtitles reflect the correct lines though).

We’ve had the Nintendo Music weekly update mostly every Monday (Tuesday Japan time) at the same time that I’ve been setting an alarm for it. The only exceptions have been as follows:

1. Monday December 30. No update this week due to the New Year’s Eve Holiday.
2. Monday February 10. The update time would have coincided with National Foundation Day so the Golden Sun music went up a day early.
3. Monday March 10. Mario Day, the upload of Super Mario Bros. 3 happened a day early to coincide with the day in Japan.

I chose to start a different set of drawings this time around. Cause I admit to never really doing Pokemon fanart like that. But since I played both Silver and Soul Silver, with the same team, I wanted to see how different the games would feel cause of that. So I drew said team, starting off with the Starter Typhlosion. I usually pick Fire cause it's harder to come across than Water and Grass. The links below are just in case the picture doesn't show up in the thread in and of itself. Helps that for once the image isn't too large for me to post it without cropping. As you can imagine, this set is a 6 part series.

Day 23: Sonic Mania

Widely considered a return to form, how is Sonic Mania? Personally, I love it! Loads of fun zones both old and new which never seem to overstay their welcome to me (Except Oil Ocean Act 2 who thought that was even remotely ok). There's 3 characters, 5 if we count DLC, and they all feel super fun to play with their own quirks despite the very simple controls and ease of getting into the game. Sonic's Drop Dash lets you keep movinf forward, Tails has his flight to give him an easier time exploring, Knuckles is pretty much hard mode while also seeing a couple different routes or stages, Ray has the Super Mario World Cape and Mighty's immune to spikes when curled up and has a stomp! There's loads of fun secrets to find and the special stages are truly some of the best in the series. Also, if you have the DLC, you get Encore Mode which is a bit harder, look different but has a real neat mechanic where you can swap between 2 characters back and forth, though you only get 1 life per character lol. All in all, I had a lovely time with this, one of the first Switch games I bought. Truly, a great game I cannot recommend enough
