The only reason I would be able to “afford” this system is because I am not currently paying rent. They really need to bring the price down.

I don’t think that’ll happen. We’re gonna have to wait for cheaper models of the system or years to go down the line.

Of course, you can gamble your savings on Black Friday and cyber Monday too

On one hand we're all feeling the effects of inflation, with the 'cheapest' option still costing a ludicrous amount for the Switch 2 which let's face it, is objectively ****ed up, especially with a precedent for NINETY EURO VIDEO GAMES making this hobby get worse and worse, especially for Nintendo fans as Nintendo hates the idea of discounting games.

On the other hand...

I mean. Let's be real, this is Mario Kart, it's not like a fighting game where every character needs to stand out, just have some fun animations and voice lines while slapping some arbitrary stat differences among the weight classes and you're set

Depending on how Free Roam works, it can give a healthier competitive aspect with friends, the way they showed off online I can easily see people going "Hey I found a shortcut the other day, follow me, I wanna even out the playing field and show it"

I think there’s gonna be another direct sometime in June, after the console’s launch. We still don’t have any fall or holiday games announced for Switch 2, this direct was mostly focused on launch day and a month afterwards.

For some games, such as Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, it’s free.

For the actual upgrade packs, no report but I’ve read $10 per game so maybe that’s it?

The Zelda games are in the NSO Expansion.
